5. Girahim wants to revive his master. I really hope his "master" isn't some sort of Ganon clone.

I would put my money on that it is Ganondorf... =/

But if they're going to make a villain reappear, I hope it'll be Majora.

6. Saving is no longer for anytime, but at certain statues. You no longer must start at the start of a dungeon, but instead where you left off. Yes, I've been waiting for this for a very long time.

Okay that's good. Though there was nothing wrong with Farore's Wind either.

7. Lots of genrally interactivity with the scenery.

That's always nice.

8. A day/night cycle not time based. This could work, but I hope the enemies that emerge at night actually provide a challenge to dfeat, as opposed to OoT.

Apparently Link must go to sleep to make time pass. Sounds a bit lame.

Well the King was always the King of Hyrule, which hasn't been discovered by the Skyloftinans yet. Link is the first person to go to the surface world or somethig.

I don't think Zelda is royalty yet. It is the first game timeline-wise.

I'm so amped for this game. Not really a fan of the Wind Waker entries. Although I already said that in another thread.

As to the moron who said earlier Nintendo needs new franchises and characters, I would kindly like to tell him to FUCK OFF. Nintendo does NOT need new franchises. Why should they fix something that isn't broken. They keep redefining their franchises in unique ways, so even if the characters get a little boring, the games do not.

Plus, I'd just like to say this: While Microsoft and Sony are sticking with their 7, 8 year-old consoles, Nintendo is moving on, and AGAIN redefining the word 'console' as we know it. I mean, a touch screen built right into the controller? FUCK YEAH!

I am really hyped about the game. I fixed my Wii a few months ago and been playing my Wii library and old games, it seems I did the fixing just in time, eh.

Really looking forward to this. Ghiranim and not Ganon is cool, but I hope the Master he wants to resurrect isn't the latter. And I am really hoping to see Majora or Fierce Deity in this game, I really do.

My favorite zelda game would be ocarina of time for the 3ds. the graphics are great and the storyline is basically the same so it is still original but im nearly done with the game but it has been great

The game has one bundle at launch, this bundle includes a gold wii motion plus remote, the game, and the game's soundtrack.

Later, they'll stop with that bundle, and release a new bundle with just the music and the game.

Zoras are out. New squid type creatures take over their role.

Lake Floria is the trademark water area of this game.

An odd dungeon was show, showcasing a lot of whip use, various water elements, and a cool looking golden statue we'd already seen before.

Swimming should be easier now. No more inaccurate diving controls, you just angle the wiimote the direction you want to go.

The slingshot seems to look different than other trailers/etc... It's red and can now shoot multiple shots. The upgrade system no doubt.

An earlier hunch I had was right. Bugs can now enhance potions.

An minigame island near Skyloft. Sounds cool.

Gorons like to travel.

Cool stuff.

Not that I disagree, but I always find it odd when a people complain that Ganon's the big bad too often. He hasn't been in a game since 2006 and has only appeared in 7 of the 14 main games so far, the only Ganoncluster being in the early 2000s. Nintendo usually has at least one game between his appearances, in fact we're at 3 now since it's been confirmed he won't be in this one.

Nice I was a little dissapointed with the slingshot controls in Twilight Princess in both GC and Wii versions of the game. Let's hope this one makes it greater.

the game is hijacked by Ganon, so character's like Vaati and Zant don't get their deserving role as main villain.

This trailer gives me the impression that the game will in fact have some dark story scenes, considering how evil Girahim's laugh sounded.

There's also this lady with dark skin who's appeared in another trailer besides this one, and no real info has talked about her yet.

Also, according to many early reviews, such as Edge and the Official Ninty magazine, the game is pretty damn good. I'm really looking ofrward to hearing more of this game's orchestrated soundtrack as well.

That's what I'm searching for ATM. The Twilight Princess opening music as well as ending credits was perfect, the music for it really made me pleased to own the game, it's pretty much the same with all the Legend Of Zelda games.

Apparently harps are deserving of full trailers.

Based on the amount of screentime the harp has gotten, I'm pretty sure it's a major plot element, considering Zelda made a big deal out of giving it to Link.

And with Skyward Sword just a reversed Zelda's Lullaby, you can get more shit out of it than you can put shit in.

Ganon will actually not be in Skyward Sword due to the fact that this takes place before when Link lived somewhere else and the Master Sword was in fact the Skward Sword.

Short recap: Fi is the Sword godess as well as your "fairy" companion this time around, Midna and Navi style. She is the Skyward Sword, to be turned into the Master Sword, which Lord Girahim wants to revive his master. The Triforece isn't very important in this one, therefore no reason for Ganon to make an ass out of himself.

well it looks like it plays in the same nature like all the other zelda games but why was the trailer making a homage to Majora's mask,wind waker and twilight princess? i sort of think the cell shaded style look pretty peculiar on some spots.

Well during an interview with the main producer of the game he explained that the art style was supposed to include both a style between games like Majora's Mask and a small cartoonish looking style that Wind Waker had presented. Speaking of past Zelda games I've been playing through them to get me more hyped up for Skyward Sword. Sadly I don't think I'll be getting this game until Christmas time.
