I'd actually recommend Call Of Pripyat over Shadow Of Chernobyl. Call Of Pripyat has a lot of interesting things such as collecting artifacts in unique radiation zones, customising weapons with quite a lot of things (sadly, very few if any customising that will affect the appearance of the gun) and some cool ideas for creatures.
This too will pass.

That game was scary for me as well as interesting, going around with very little or no sanity is just asking for a mindfuck to come and throw itself on you.

Definately Dragon Age 2, the game has excellent graphics, epic gameplay, AND LOTS OF BLOOOD!!!!

Please be joking.
Also, OP, inFamous 1. I really have to say that it has some of the best writing for a villain and plot twist I've ever seen in a game.
Seriously, man. That ending.
I've yet to play the inFamous 2, but I've been hearing nothing but good things about it.
Portal from the orange box blew my mind a little. I honestly didn't see that coming! AC Brotherhood did the same thing. Try those if you want your mind blown
There are really games which blows out your mind but do you know which games are the hardest game ever played?
In recent years? Red Dead Redemption and Braid (herp derp artfag) are all I can think of.
Going back a bit further, Psychonauts, Shadow of the Colossus, Half-Life 2, Vampire - The Masquarade: Bloodlines and the already mentioned Deus Ex.

Minecraft. Either that or Terraria. Don't listen to the trollfags, both are amazing games and are hated upon because some shitty-ass idiots don't understand them.
LSD. No joke, look it up and buy this game. It will blow your mind.
Tales of Vesperia is a great choice if you are looking for a great xbox 360 game. Not sure if its a game that will blow your mind but its a game that will leave an impression on you to play if over and over again.

Definately worth getting a Gamecube for that.
And since we're talking about Gamecubes you might as well buy Metroid Prime if you get one. Probably won't play your mind but it's a rewarding experience.
Might as well buy Tales of Symphonia as well if he were to do that. Its probably one of the best games on the gamecube and among my favorite games of all time.

I've never tried Terraria out, but what could possibly be hard to understand about Minecraft?
You place blocks on other blocks and occasionally fight a monster or two. It's nothing special.
Don't call people idiots because they don't like games (or in this case, betas) that stop being fun after one week.
To be honest, when I first played Harvest Moon for the Super Nintendo it pretty much blew my mind. The idea of non-action games was entirely rediculous to me at the time, and then I tried it out.
For two weeks.
Sadly this game now costs around $60 used, so I'd find something newer.

And simon says.
Rayman, classic Crash Bandicoot.
Depending on how much you like a challenge.
Play on XBL themoosetaco777. And before you ask, I suck.
Sorry, but you're gonna have to dig into older PC games like Quake and Deus Ex (the first one) to get a true "blow your mind experience". I'm saying PC because older console games are almost always just too much on the casual side to blow your mind. Half-Life 2 is the last game to truly blow my mind, Crysis 1 came close but no dice.
Cheating? I like to call it strategic opportunity.

Honestly, skate. The storyline is amazing, it's an open world, and it's just great for skating lovers
If someone hasn't spoiled it for you than Bioshock (and even if they have there are mind blowing things outside the story).
Also the god of war games on the consoles.
The boss fights and music are epic.
It would be good if u made a list of the games youve played
XBL: Taillesspack819 Send a Friend Request if u want :D
hmmmm.... did you try going 100% on Majora's Mask? Some of the side-quests are the best I've ever seen in a videogame (especially the couple's mask).
Or what about Amnesia: The Dark Descent? It'll blow your mind and make you defecate yourself at the same time. Or Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem?

Tales of symphonia is one of those games that i will always remember as it was just that awesome the first time i played it, how does tales of vesperia compare to it?
As for old games if you like rpg's then i would recomend Planescape torment for the PC myself, it's one of the few games that really has a great story/setting.

amnesia scared the living shit out of me. i thought it was a fantastic game. the only downside i have is that i ahd played a game that was similar in style of play. it was called call of cthulhu-dark corners of the earth. instead of having nightmares and shadows scaring the fuck out of you, it is a very small, quiet and desolate twon with the population of it part of a cult that believe in the god cthulhu and have a fetish for killing outsiders. i found that game to also blow my mind.

If you've got a Ps3 you're in luck cause some of the best games of the modern age are Ps3 only. Great ones are God of War 3, Assasin's Creed 2, and (HELL YEAH!) Heavenly Sword. That one is the absolute best of 2010, and might be 2011 if they make a sequel! Here's the cover to look out for.
