I don't want to detract from what is obviously a very sad occasion for anybody regardless of who they are, but to be completely honest, the guy was hardly Gandhi. The level of attention that he's getting is a bit disproportionate compared to what he achieved in his life, considering Brain Haw died yesterday. This is a shame, RIP.Brian Haw is unknown to most Americans, because he did his shit in London. Ryan Dunn was a famous actor who was known world round, and huge in America. Of course a forum with 80%+ Americans is going to be more socially affected about him.
I don't want to argue because I'm coming across as pretty grim here, plus I grew up watching all the jackass shit just like you when I was a kid, I was only making the comparison between the reception of the death of a political activist compared to a guy who frankly pissed about all his life and died after what appeared to be a reckless drink and drive. Not to say I'm not saddened by the news, and I certainly feel for the family and friends.
