Weird Foods that Taste Good

By weird foods I don't mean foreign foods or unusual dishes, I mean weird ways of eating or combining everyday food.

For example, I like to eat peanuts as snacks. When my jar of honey roasted peanuts gets empty there's always dust of the bottom made up of caramelized sugar, salt, and the "paper" on the outside of the peanuts. It's delicious. I also like the shells on whole peanuts (I usually just pop the whole thing in my mouth).

Peanut Butter + Any fruit/vegetable is odd but good food.
Popcorn Chicken + Hot Fries + putting them both in a double cheeseburger, taste strange but great.

A Slim Jim on a Hawaiian roll is awesome! Same if you take a Slim Jim and put it between two chocolate dipped chocolate chip granola bars.

Jack fruit.

They look like durian but the difference is the smell.

Jack fruit doesn't smell like shit and it taste good. Granted it's practically the same flavor used by "Juicy Fruit" gum (whether they'll admit it or not), but the important thing is that they didn't smell. I actually tasted durian recently and it tasted like mushed onions. I like onions but when a fruit happens to taste like that, it's gross.

That said, I like jack fruit but I hate durians!

Cheese and jam. Surprisingly common in European countries yet in North America it's almost unheard of. Must be because there is pretty much only chedder and mozza as a home staple.

Take a slice of ham, spread cream cheese on it, and then use it to wrap a pickle. It sounds strange, but it's pretty good.

Also mayo on corn on the cob. It can't be good for you, but it tastes pretty okay.
