I think it'd be good to downsize the heads a bit, especially on the kid.
Big heads are fine, but this justlooks silly.

It's supposed to be super big. That's what they look like, I created them......

I think the heads are too big for how much of the head is actually used. It's wasteful and looks dumb

You've also got kid Henry's reflection all wrong o.o
It's supposed to be the feet that fade out towards the head, not the head that fades out towards the feet... :x

Nice. I'm digging the detail in the shadows.

These guys are right it'd be better if the kid had a little smaller head
Also the last pic of the desert is very good(I don't comment the others cuz this is the result)the shadows are pretty accurate, the clouds good too and the details in the buildings make them great
nice work!!!
Did you draw the clouds and mountains or are they manipulations of photos? Not accusing, just genuinely curious. The way you colored them it looks similar to something illustrator can do to convert a photograph to vector.

I started with a blank document in photoshop, and started painting. This is an ACTUAL painting not a photo in vectors, if it were vectors, the lines would be much more crisp.....

I am amazed that I was accused of manipulating photos for landscape, perhaps it's because my landscape is so simple, but yet it looks real

A really good/seasoned artist knows how to take it as a compliment when someone thinks they were cheating. They don't get defensive. Just saying.
Also, the FIRST thing I thought when I saw those last images was, 'this dude is tracing high contrast images in photoshop' Especially when compared to your earlier work. The dress on one of the previous characters looks the same. Hey, I might be wrong, and I certainly don't care enough to go find the source images. It ain't that big of a deal.
Just saying, that is how it looks. Maybe you're just 'that good'.
Think what you will, this is my work, from scratch, no photo manipulation or high contrast tracing involved. I thank all of you for accusing me, and will take it as a compliment. I have put around 3-4 hours of work into this, but it's not finished. Thanks to everyone for the feedback, it's greatly appreciated

I would recommend adding highlights to the desert pic as well. Right now there are just shades. Also on some of your other pics the lighting and shading is not consistent. Like there are lights and shades on the head, but then only shades on the dress.
Well 'looks traced' in my opinion is as much of a crit as 'looks bad' or 'looks good' or whatever. So there is that too.
Finally finished, I call it "The Reckoning." It's a concept of Henry looking out at Triton City, around 3-4 hours in photoshop.
