Social media grows exponentially every day, and us such we find ourselves creating accounts on multiple websites for basically the same purpose. Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Blogger, etc. We've all got our little tid-bits of personal information we incessantly share over the internet, and really there is no end in sight to this madness.
So why not embrace it?
This is the Newgrounds' Blogger Association, or the Tumblr Crew. Now one might ask
"Why Canas, we all have a blog and it's called our news post!"
And to you I say, "Stfu!", with a chuckle and a smile.
This is a place where we can discuss our blogs, trade tips on how to screw with the HTML of Tumblr, teach others how to bend the website to their will, and most importantly follow eachother's blogs and increase our traffic and exposure.
Now you don't have to blog about anything in particular, there are no guidelines to follow. You can use your Tumblr for massive amounts of porn, if you truly wish, and I have no qualms with that so long as you provide the appropriate 'NSFW' warning. Personally, my Tumblr (Sand and Foam Music) is a place where I explore both my passions of writing and music. I post songs, some available for download, and I blog about the music itself.
There are accusations abound of it being a hipster website, but alas, your page is only as hipster as you want it to be. And true hipsters would never congregate on a single website, because it's much too mainstream. And no hipster would support that.
So fellow NG'er, do you have a Tumblr?
