Said policeman was indeed charged for second degree murder and lost his job due to this event in 2010, so there seems to be justice in this case.
Without truth, there is no justice.

The officer only lost his job, he didn't goto prison.
He didn't ? Oh, that changes it, of course, why didn´t they throw him in jail?

Quoted for truth. What a douchebag police officer.

One man loses life. The other spends two years in a state prison, and has to find work somewhere else. JUSTIC IS SERVED.
You're perspective on life is really bad.

According to a Youtube comment, the trial is still in process.
"Just a reminder people: This is old news. This happened%uFEFF on October 5, 2010. The Police Officer in question was indicted by a grand jury 10 days after it happened for second degree murder and sometime in March he was fired from the job. He'll likely be sentenced in short order.
Justice will be served. As much as can be anyway."

The case is still not closed and the judgement not made, and it is atleast better than nothing, we can´t go out and start to kill everyone who kills somebody.

You know what? The mother cries to the camera. SHE was the one who called police. Because she had an argument with him. An argument? She had an argument with her son so she decided to call 911 to scare him? Well, she got her lesson now. It's time to make a new kid I guess. And THIS time not try any shit like that.

The police aren't infallible, you aren't immune from making mistakes in a position of authority. Yeah there are some pretty despicable people in the police but the vast majority of police officers aren't corrupt. Instead of harboring on corruption in the police force, I'd like to hear the OP's thoughts on what should be done differently. "MAN LOOK AT ALL THIS BAD STUFF" without an overarching message is pointless.

One incident involving one officer out of almost 700,000 police officers employed nationwide, means that all police are corrupt. Fact.

I think it's too bad he didn't fuck up and pull that shit on someone better trained than himself. THAT would have been entertaining. As is, however, that case is some straight up bullshit.
WhiteDJ already covered all the retards so far actin like the cop was a badass, but for clarity, executing a dog and an unarmed man with a pistol is not badass. It's the surest sign of a pussy who wants to feel powerful. Only times when guns are really necessary are during combat, when up against an opponent with a firearm, or when severely outnumbered.
I take absolutely no responsibility for people following my advice. Failing to notice this disclaimer does not exempt one from it. You have been warned. :)

That's insane. Kind of makes you question who the real culprits were in this story. Sure the kid was wrong to question the officer, but did the officer really have to go to lengths to kill him. There's always a piece of the story missing.

While I can really understand your frustration, but you can´t really blame his family for that, and wishing them death is pretty rude.

That's the point, the thing is that when it comes to enforcing the law, people would expect better. Expecting better is one thing but there are some who would place an expectation way too high which can be a problem. Not to mention the fact that some just looked for excuses to act like rebels because it makes them look "bad ass" or "cool".
The latter's more of a phase some young people goes through.
Yeah, when it comes to screw ups by certain people in a position of authority, the entire group gets lumped together.

Yes. We have to consider that most policemen do their job great and risk their life on a daily basis for each and everyone of us, so we shouldn´t blame them all for the actions of the bad cops.

You guys make me laugh. Moment there is a bad cop it's all "The police are terrible, this must be stopped. It's all corrupt bullshit" but then go to make jokes about a different murder commited by someone not involved with law enforcement.

No. If you put a man in a position of power, it will often corrupt him. The number of incidents involving police abusing their authority is actually quite low, given what you would expect. The systems in place for making sure officers do not overstep their boundaries work well. While it's terrible that this happened, it has to be remembered that it's a very rare occurrence.

which is exactly what i was implying... the links point to stories of police doing their jobs and saving peoples lives
