How far back are we talking? I was a little over two years old when this happened.

APOLLO 11 MISSION: (July 16-24, 1969)

Crew: Neil Armstrong, Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin, Michael Collins
Command Module: Columbia
Lunar Module: Eagle
Moon Landing Date: 20 July 1969
Landing Site: Sea of Tranquillity - Mare Tranquillitatis
Time on Moon: 22 hours

Summary:
- Apollo 11 was the first moon landing mission.
- Neil Armstrong was the first astronaut to walk on the moon.
- The USS Hornet aircraft carrier recovered the Apollo 11 crew after their return from the first lunar landing.

I miss playing Road Rash on the original Sega Megadrive, the console broke, sadly.

I miss playing the good old games, I remember playing Tomb Raider 2, I recently installed it again and I knew where all the collectable secrets were. (the dragon statues)

That game was hella fun for it's time.

Yes I have a grown child. She is 21. And she is also an NG user.

But I have kept from when I was growing up, a G.I. Joe and G.I. Joe Helicopter, and a Steve Austin, Six Million Dollar Man. And I probably have an old Atari 2600 or whatever it is, and a few games hidden around the place somewhere. Many wasted hours as a youth. And then came the NES. Heaven.

I got boners a lot of times when I was a kid. Kindergarten was funny when I popped wood. I thought it was a seat ... ergo, I asked some Indian girl to sit on it.

Got a note home THAT day.

My childhood entertainment was mainly video games and I still have all mine. My PS1 and Gameboy Colour probably have the most nostalgic value as they were my first gaming systems and I played them a hell of a lot.

I guess some of the things that I wont miss are trading cards. Nobody know how to play the games, but we all bought the cards and traded them regardless. I think Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh were probably the most popular.

There are loads of other little things that I remember becoming popular at one time or another. Yoyos got really big for a while, people used to collect pogz in my early years of school and I can remember a few things that I don't even know what they were.

Playing the NES with my older brother. Super Mario with two players was a cool thing, but my bro was so good at the game, that I had to wait ages for my turn. He would only die on the 6th world.

New Year and presents. The whole atmosphere was so magical, unlike now. And random gifts from elders, everybody is so nice to you when you're just a little guy

I remember watching Dragon Ball Z with my father as a child. I still love it and watch it regularly.
