I still use it occasionally if I rent a movie that's only on VHS format from the library. But that's roughly 10% of the time.
Right now I got Hot Shots 1 and Part Deux ;3

It's weird I didn't see this until now, hip means cool and up to date but hipster means you hate stuff that's cool and up to date.
I had a huge box filled with vhs tapes when I was younger, but I had to get rid of it when I moved.
I wish I still had a VCR....so many movies that I haven't seen in for fucking ever. It's just not as cool to watch them on a DVD or internet stream : (
I own exactly one VHS now. I don't even own a VHS player anymore but I will not get rid of this video, it is the essence of my youth and in the great clear out of VHS's over the years, something deep inside of me tells me no, don't give it up, not for anything!
Popples.
I buy them for 99 cents in entertainmart. I was able to find Pulp Fiction collectors edition in really good condition<3
I still have Rugrats season uno episodes also.

i haven't had a vhs player in a long time, but i own a few limited or rare vhs tapes of my favorite films just for collector's sake
i really didn't start buying movies until about 10 years ago and they were all on dvd by then
unless you're going to flea markets or something, i dunno where you would even buy vhs tapes anymore (besides online)
I don't even think we still own one, although I'm not sure about that.
Yeah, my "Doors" movie is on VHS. Why search everywhere to find it on DVD? Besides, it's nice to go back to the times of fast forwarding and rewinding.
I was sad when harry potter 3 didn't come out on VHS!
I occasionally use the VHS to record a TV episode that I'm going to miss while I'm out, but that's it. I'm probably getting a DVR soon anyway, and that'll be the last I see of tapes.
Your opinion is wrong.
Current favourite thread.
I still have Highlander, Trainspotting and Romper Stomper on VHS but I no longer have a VHS player.

The first movie I can remember watching on VHS was Whinne the Poohs Blustery Day. Epic fucking children movie.....
I've got lots of them. Including ones of music videos, cartoons, and movies that were taped off TV as far back as 1988 (when my family first got a VCR).
In contrast i only have 9 DVD's.
That's right I like guns and ponies. Problem cocksuckers?

just stop being a retard who doesn't know the definition of words and thinking people actually adhere to your perception of the word then applying it to them
I don't use VHS anymore, and I quit using them at a pretty young age because my family started buying DVDs when they were brand new and most people didn't have them. I watched the Land Before Time so many times the tape broke though.
For I am and forever shall be... a master ruseman.
VHS is way better, it lasts much longer because it can't get scratched, DVDs are just a scam. Unfortunately, they no longer put movies on VCR cassettes.
