Onions, cheese, and occasionally tomato sauce have always done the trick for me. I've always little to keep my affairs with such food simple.

I'd suggest mayonnaise, but I've never had a hot dog.
Of course, I wouldn't say ketchup because it makes me sick.

Ketchup or plain.
All that relish with onions and shit like that just looks like a pile of shit on a piece of meat and bun

I'm a lot like this, only time I use ketchup and shit like that is when the meat has no flavour. But I am a fan for banana peppers, cheese, onions, sauerkraut, anything that's an actual food instead of a sugery paste or what have you.

Saurkraut, Onions, BBQ Sauce, any combination of the three.

I honestly never put condiments on my hot dogs. Most of the time I eat them plain with just the bun. It's strange but enjoyable.

As often as possible. I've actually been to Gus' Red Hots as well, the place where the Michigan hot dog was invented.
Needless to say, they were delicious. Still prefer our home-made ones. You've got to use the Glacier hot dogs though... otherwise it just isn't quite the same Michigan hot dog. The Coney Island hot dog is an imposter.
