Ndc: 2011 - Art Collab:

Welcome to the next installment towards the Notepad Drawing Collab series (NDC: 2011).

Here is where you can sign up. Also use this thread for critique, help, posting work's in progress (WIPS) and any other initial info that will benefit you and / or the collab. I am open to ideas so don't be shy to recommend an idea.

About This Thang':
Most of you would know what this collab is and what it's about. To put it simple the main purpose is to choose one (or all, depending how many pieces you make) of these three pages provided below as your default background. You then draw over that page with what you want (let your imaginations run wild). View last years NDC to see what other people did if you are a little stuck.

Downloadable Backgrounds:
You must choose one of these 3 templates to use as your background for submissions:
- Normal/Plain Paper.
- Old Paper.
- Stained Paper.

Rules & Qualification:
All forum rules apply. I'm not all fussed about nudity, violence and/or adult themes. But don't push it too far or I'll have to refuse it from the collab.

Please spend some quality time on your piece. I am not going to tell you how long you should take as some of you may produce the Mona-Lisa in under 10 minutes whereas others do the same job but in an hour. Just put some quality and effort into your piece as you will not place a spot in the collab if you do not do so.

If your piece does not reach my expectations, I will also have to refuse it. Again, look at last years NDC to see what my expectations are set at.

Specifics & Guidelines:
The available space for art is of course within the stage of the background images provided.

I would prefer it if your piece was done digitally (as this is a digital collab), but I am accepting original art into the collab if you prefer to do that. if you choose to do so, I would prefer you to:

- Make the dimensions 440w X 500h.
- Use notepad/lined paper to draw on.
- Remember that you can make up to 5 pieces (that doesn't necessarily mean that all of them will get accepted though).

Submission:
Please upload a JPEG or GIF version of your part(s) to NG so I can easily view and rate your piece. I will also need you to upload a PNG high quality version of your piece (this goes into the collab itself) and upload it to the NG Dump Uploader along with the following information:

- Location - In other words... Where you live (if you do not wish to share this kind of information, I understand and respect that).
- Age and gender.
- A fun fact or comment towards your artwork - This can be about your piece you made, the collab, animation, yourself hobbies etc.
- Remember to give your piece a unique name eg: NDC_JKAmovies.PNG (This saves clashing with other files of the same name).

This information is for your personal bio. You do not have to provide any information if you wish to do so.

Deadline:
I'm going to run this through most of the year so I'm going to set the deadline to 1st of November (This gives you some decent time to create art).

I will not assume when the collab will be submitted to Newgrounds as my predictions are never accurate. Let's just say before 2012.

I know... It has been quite a delay but I was just hoping to have everything planned by this time. I figured to get this thing rolling so people can at least start submitting art before it's too late.

That last rule doesn't really apply as much... I don't really care how much you submit just as long as you have shown that you have put effort and quality into the art.

I would suppose that I'm a sightly better artist then I was last time I tried to get into this. You know, slightly. Not very much at all. In fact, I might still suck so sincerely badly that it's better off for me to shoot myself in the dick right now.

Speaking of dicks, I would really like an autoplay feature. I don't want to have to stop wanking just so I can click a button, you 'earing me out? A page skip every 5 seconds would be nice. Even better, one that's adjustable.
