It's part of my graduation.....every student has to make 2 graduation works for the final grade in art.This work is going to be drawn later using the etching and aquatint technique for the final piece

What are you etching on?
Also, what's aquatint?

I'm etching on a copper plate......as for the aquatint it's similar to the etching technique but instead of scratching the plate with a dry point needle you cover certain area of the plate with acid resistant powdered rosin so you can achieve tonal effects.The variation of the tones is controlled by the fact how long you keep a certain area exposed to acid.This technique is great for background effects but it's a bit tricky
