that goes double for me, there have been times when i havent voted on anything for a few months, and i still get the option of doing the monthly voting, thats why i thought that just everyone got to

Like Swag said, it use to be the top 2,000. But then Tom up'd it be the top 3,000 a few months ago, maybe even a year ago. I can't seem to find that post.

But I think it might be a lot bigger number than that now. I know he up'd it in the first place because he said a lot of people weren't voting at the end of the month. So the same thing might have applied again.

I like voting, and I want to participate in who gets what awards, but it's just I can never remember. Tom really needs to do something that will make it more memorable, or at least something that will grab my attention and remind me to do it. Maybe change the Newgrounds banner for the first week of the month?

Correction. It is calculated on people who deposited experience points in the last month and the top ranked users who do that - it used to be pooled from the top 2,000 active users, I believe it's now 10,000 PLUS any of the artists who uploaded submissions that are eligible AND all staff AND some moderators (can't remember whether it applies to all mods or specific mods like forum mods).

So, Mr. Phrozon - you would have deposited your points at some point in the month that the awards are for, or you wouldn't be in the pool.

This is a bit of an old thread, and a few days past the redesign, but.... I had to chance to vote this month, but I figured I'd wait till afterward, and see if they got the interface easier to vote with. If you vote, you gotta shot at 100$ prize money! At least, you used to...

It's no longer on my account page. Has anyone out there got a "monthly voting time" link in their account page now?
