so tell me how like drafts of dubstep or house music arent Zerovoted,but pieces like mine are.and i do classical.

that just shows me how ridiculous the AP is at times.

now,i know that your rate doesnt really matter if you truly are a good musician and things and how their time will come,BUT i find this to be REALLY unacceptable and i think a new voting system should be in place,different from the flash portal,because although the convienience is there to have identical systems,it's not as abused over in the FP as it is here in the AP.

i mean,the first song i posted,the first time i checked,had a 4.18(A+) even though there were only 4 votes. i come back an hour later,and it's now 2.26(C-)

and my second song has,as of right now,a 0.26(F-)

Either people need to get a reality check on this kind of thing or a renovation has to go down.

Remember that your music could be heard by anybody, so take in mind that there's people that doesn't even hear 10 seconds of your song but they will kindly vote 0 on your song, not only in classical music , it happens in every genre man.

This didn't really help me in terms of zero bombing all that much as I do like screwing around with many, many genres. I honestly think the downvoters just click zero on pretty much everything they can get their, uh, mouse on. No genre discrimination on their part or anything.

It does seem that peppy electronic material does get better scores, though. Might be the lack of listeners in the first place's fault - but that's just speculation.

0-bombers don't care what genre the song is in. They will 0-bomb regardless. I know this because I've submitted songs under many different genres (General Rock, Classical, Techno, Trance, Drum'n'Bass, etc...) and they all got a roughly equal amount of 0-bombs.

The only way to get less 0-bombs is putting your song under an unpopular genre like Ska, Latin or Bluegrass. 0-bombs tend to go for the more popular genres like Techno and Classical, and don't bother checking out these obscure genres as much. You'll still get 0-bombs by the more hardcore 0-bombers, but definitely not as many. In fact, the only one time I got a Top 5 was when I made a Latin song.

This is generally frowned upon by many people though. If you made a Techno song, put it under Techno not an unpopular genre which is 0-bombed less or else you'll get people complaining that you got high scores unfairly.

You MUST vote 5 on your own songs everyday in order to be noticed. Promote yourself and talk to people in the classical portal, and get a fan base. Your fans votes will weigh WAY more than the haters. Nuff Said.

I've noticed more issues with the heavy metal sections than anything else, if you put a song in there and don't have a 3 billion+ fan base, your songs will be shit on faster than a tribe of cannibals with diarrhea to the floor of their hut.

But to avoid the reiteration problem, calm down, build a fan base/ask a bunch of your friends to vote for your songs, vote everyday when you can. And your songs will every once and a while be viewed and get the occasional vote/review.
