Friend pronounces can't wrong.

I have a very close friend, however he has a problem pronouncing "can't'. when he says can't the a sounds like a u, you can imagine how that causes problems. So I am wondering what I should do to avoid embarrassment in front of my other friends.

The joke is a fail. However, I have a solution for the problem of your friend, he has just to say " I can not" instead of "I can´t", and everytime he says "can´t", just punch him in the face, so that he learns his lesson.

this is the only solution i guess, is your friend from a foreign country? and does he have poor English? if so just tell him the way he pronounces can't it sounds like an abusive word and tell him the correct pronunciation if he is unable to correctly pronounce it then stick with can not.
