Who was the thirsty person who, for the first time in the history of the human kind, looked at the cow, fixed his eyes at her dangling stuff and said "I will squeeze those things and whatever comes out I will drink it"?
I have never understood this. I've heard it a few times, but I thought it was a bit obvious.
When you are a baby, you drink your mothers milk, when a cow is a baby, it does the same thing from it's mother. So knowing that milk has something in it that helps you to grow when you're a baby, they applied the same principle to an adult, and so milked, probably a few, animals. And I would assume cows milk is the easiest to obtain, and probably the best tasting.
