Band T-shirts 2011-05-21 07:01:17 Reply

I guess this thread really only applies to those who wear t-shirts showing support for specific bands.

Basically, I was trying to decide on which t-shirt I wanted to wear today when it struck me that a high number of my t-shirts all have band logos or names on them.

For those of you who wear these kinds of t-shirts, which bands do they have on them?

Here's my list:

Anti-Nowhere League
Slaughter & The Dogs
The Exploited
The Macc Lads
Haggis
The Damned
The Restarts
Sham 69
UK Subs
Motorhead
Ramones
The Clash
The Sex Pistols

I think that's about all of them. For some bands I even have multiple t-shirts and that list is longer than I imagined.

I don't have many, but I tend to pick them up when I go to gigs for bands.

Saying this, I've been really wanting some band shirts that seem unobtainable. I could really do with Swan's Filth printed on a t-shirt.

I find something tacky about band t-shirts. Mind you, I'm hardly fashionable myself.

Mudvayne.
Gorgoroth.
Swans.

Rammstein.
Cannibal Corpse x 2.

I've got Iron Maiden's Flight 666 and I want the Japan shirt. I also have a bog-standard AC/DC shirt and a Blues Brothers shirt, though that doesn't really count, does it?

I only have a TV On The Radio t-shirt that I don't wear because 1) it's too small and 2) I wouldn't want to ruin it anyway. It's fucking sexy.

I don't have a lot, seeing as I don't have huge amounts of money right now.
One of The Faceless, One of Amon Amarth and One of Finntroll. But I'm planning on buying an Alestorm or Fleshgod Apocalypse on soon.

I might have forgotten some but:

Lamb Of God - X2
Arch Enemy
Children Of Bodom X3
Opeth
BFMV
Taking Dawn
AC/DC
Disturbed

This said, I would do well to fit into the BFMV one and the ACDC one. I just keep those because I like them.
And counting hoodies: Machine Head, Metallica, Pantera, Children Of Bodom.

The only ones I own are:

1 black sabbath

2 Lamb of Gods

2 Mastodons

Although I am trying to get a Melvins shirt, more specifically this one. It has Mackie Osborne art (who did art on almost all the Melvins albums and numerous other punk bands albums) and I would love to have a shirt that has her stuff on it.

That's it for me.

Hey Drony, where's all the punk bands at? You gotta represent man.

I'm considering buying a Black Flag t-shirt, but since I've been trying to keep hold of as much money as possible, I haven't gotten around to buying it yet. Most band related t-shirts cost me about £13 which I think is a lot for what is usually a mid quality t-shirt with some printing on it.

usually a band shirt in america would cost around $20, at least. its pricey but it is how a band has to make money, along with cd's and concerts of course.

also, glad to hear your getting into american punk rock bands like Black Flag :)

That's the same t-shirt I was considering buying, only being British I'll get it from a British online store, just to save me huge postage costs and such. I appreciate the help though.

I don't like a single one of these bands. I'm not going to say they suck or anything, since it's simply based on opinion, but, ya know.

I have some band t-shirts. 3-5 Metallica shirts, a Disturbed shirt, and one Megadeth shirt. I do, however, want a Red Hot Chili Peppers shirt someday.
