Since inevitably 45 different threads are bound to pop up covering the disappointing anticlimax of event predicted by Harold Camping to occur today (May 21 2011) I have made this thread where you can keep all the related discussion.

I don't even get why some Christians jumped on the whole 2012 thing? Why would they believe predictions made by a couple pagan heathens that were the furthest thing from Christian?

Actually, apparently, it is supposed to end 6 PM local time everywhere. So "god" is supposed to care about timezones and whatnot. I wonder how the old man gets all that info from the bible, I suppose he must be a very vivid interpreter.

There have been tons of predictions about certain dates but they ultimately prove fruitless. I think when the world ends we won't have any forewarning.
