Luis, would you be so kind as to remove my ignorant and unfunny comment about Australians from your super sexy Meet-Up thread? Totally your decision, of course.

Like me, you seem to have misinterpreted Luis's thread. I am guilty of a knee jerk reaction concerning Australians.
Luis's concern here is about Newgrounders getting together to discuss art. The sad fact that some happen to be Australian, is another issue entirely, and one I should never have brought up.
I can guarantee an awesome night. We drink some, do back flips and have break dance battles. I'm coming from Perth for it!
Good times all around!
Who is the guy with the massive beard? Does Santa come to NewGrounds?
For I am and forever shall be... a master ruseman.

epic beard man's brother, who went MIA in 'nam, and managed to find his way from 'nam to aussyland just in time to take part of that picture.
I will probably be there. I know RubberNinja was talking about accommodating -18's, that'd be pretty fucking awesome.

Ross. if I can't hide in your suitcase, how much $$$ are we looking at plane ticket wise?
With only carry on luggage, you can get it sliiiightly cheaper.. But I won't lie.. Perth to Melbourne is pricey. I'm cutting it close even being able to make it out (I quit my teaching job recently).. But I'll manage.

He's some quirky old fellow that walked past. Out of curiosity he asked us what the gathering was about. We told him it was a get together of "artists, programmers, musicians". He said something like "Oh my grandson would have loved this!".. And we were about to take a group photo, so we laughed and asked him to join us. That's the best I can remember what happened.
