Doesn't it suck that as soon as your of the age(18+) you are expected to get a job? Like either you are kicked out of the house or that your family is poor(in that case, starting eariler). It doesn't matter what kind of job you do, it's just that you do it...FULLTIME, otherwise, become broke and homeless.
I envy da rich. Your parents are rich, you don have to do shit for the rest of your life. Even if u have to do shit, it's an awesome office job and being ur own boss.

my dad is his own boss, his dad is not rich.
my uncle is hugely rich, both of his kids worked their ways up from the bottom of their companies.
your argument is invalid

most families don't expect you to get a job until out of college
what type of family forces you to work straight out of college?
that's 22 at earliest

Solution: remain in education and tell them you'll be better off once you graduate.

You can live on a park bench if you don't want to get a job. Sure people expect you to get one, but they don't force you. People expect it because it's what every successful person did when they were that age, and they know you have the potential to be that. You should feel lucky that people actually expect you to get a job and not live on the street.

Then your a lazy fucking cunt, leeching off society, and your family.
The first thing I'm doing after exams are finished is posting my CV in every store. I tried to get one the second I turned 16, but you can't get a full-time job till school is finished.

You sir, are a seriously spoiled little boy. At 18, you should be more than capable of taking care of yourself, which sadly, does not include sitting on your ass playing Xbox and eating Doritos all day. Sorry.
My first job, I was 14 or 15, and although I had a hell of a time FINDING a job that would hire someone that young, I still liked it. I worked with a bunch of Indonesian people, who liked me because I could call in the orders on the phone, and they didn't have to deal with people who couldn't understand their accents.
My parents didn't force me to get the job because they were 'poor', I just had some stuff I wanted to do... I think horseback riding was one of the factors back then, and my Dad said that if I wanted all of these extra fun things, I'd have to help pay for them.
At 17, I graduated highschool a little early, and joined the Army, which was great fun, with good money for someone that young. I fell off a rappelling tower though, and got kicked out with the resulting injuries. However, with my $4,000 severance check....
I bought a car, went back to school, and got some shitty retail and factory jobs, until I graduated with my first diploma, which gets me $21 an hour, low for national standards, high for this area. When I get my second degree, and move, I'll make roughly 60-70k.
Hurray me! Thanks Dad!
Quit bitching. Get a job. You can't leech forever.

I'm moving out at age 18, and moving to America to attend University. My government is paying half, and the rest is on me. It's called being an adult. My dad has money, but I've never been handed anything, EVER.

No, actually. It is a very rewarding feeling seeing the hard work you put in day in and day out pay off. Both in terms of your life and the lives of others that you have made just a little bit better through your services. I love driving the car I earned back from the job I earned to the apartment I earned to eat the food I earned and drink the beer I earned and then play the guitar I earned. I'm not making much, but I'm making the most of it and eventually WILL be making much.
This is something that very heavily marks the transition from young adulthood to full-fledged adult. You will know what I mean somewhere around age 23 or so.
Honestly, the only reason I have any time to spend on the computer any more is because of my full-time job.

I'm going to try my hardest to get a job and move out as soon as I possibly can. Don't get me wrong, my parents are amazing people and I absolutely love them, I just really want to live by myself.

If you want to get anywhere in life you need money, there are two main ways of obtaining said money.
Work every day, or break the law.
Make your choice and accept the outcome before it happens.
Once you're older you'll mature a little and just put up with the idea of having to work, it's the way the world goes around.
Yeah, whatever.
