We cant buy more then is being produced. One of the pipelines being shut down would limit how much oils available and make the prices insanely high, We have no reason to protect the Canadian oil line because they are stable. If there was suddenly a big war in Canada we would probably send some troops in there to make sure we are getting oil too.

Osama deserved to die and people have a right to feel "satisfied" and happy about it, but I also believe they way some are celebrating (IE Chanting "USA" at the White House) is uncalled for.

But you act like there are countries out there that don't have their flaws, they don't have skewed or completely immoral agendas, every country does and those who don't believe that are the truly ignorant ones. Also, generalizing these people to represent the US is pretty stupid, not everyone gives a fuck, not everyone cheered in such a matter etc.

Anyone with intelligence knows this doesn't make a dent, others will pop up in his place, and he is now considered a martyr. But it's a step in the right direction and it does make a difference, it may be a unnoticeable difference but it does make one. If not that it at least boosts morale of those who have to serve in our military, makes them feel like everything isn't a complete waste.

Thank you. This sums up exactly how I feel. The argument isn't about whether he deserved to die or not. We took the correct course assassinating him; but its all the people that are celebrating today makes me both embarrassed, and extremely angry. Be relieved that he is finally gone but don't get drunk and party at the white house over it. This is just making things more serious and there will likely be much darker times ahead of us because of it. this is going to get them more publicity and fresh blood. They will all have a renewed sense of hatred toward us.

IF he were to have been killed lots of people would have been happy and there would be celebration.

Years back, like I stated already in my previous post - Gaddafi's tent got blown up when he was acting out of line like he is now. His entire family was killed, wife, and kids. That made Gaddafi shut his mouth and act 'normal'. We did the same thing not long ago by killing his son, he may not have stopped running his mouth and acting like a dumb shit yet, maybe he did, I'm not paying attention to Libya too much lately... But it proves a point.

So many people in Afghanistan or whatever the fuck celebrated 9/11, they were cheering and shit when the World Trade Center was blown up. Over three thousand innocent Americans were killed that day for nothing, and we've finally served justice by killing the man who masterminded that attack. I'd say American's have all the right reasons to celebrate and even though I am not American I am damn happy it's happened.

People don't really realize it either, but the nine years the war has been going on for so far, justice was being served daily by killing their people, sure it might seem wrong but the people who celebrated thousands of American's deaths deserve that.

This war has been how every war has been basically, and how every war should be. You kill 3,000 + innocent people in our country, we fuck up your country and kill your leader. And then we get drunk and celebrate, because we accomplished something that your military and leader are far too stupid to figure out.

Anybody who thinks celebrating this man's death is wrong, is stupid. End of story.

You know that the Iraq and Afghan Wars are two different wars, with different situations and different goals. Bin Laden has nothing to do with Iraq and according to official dates the Iraq War ended in 2010, and the troops will be all out by the end of the year seeing as how our job is done.

The Afghan War is the one that is still active.
