I read that as "Gandalf." Then my interest died.

It's funny the comments are from America's talking about how we shouldn't be in Libya and such and yet the article talks about a British Fighter dropping the bombs that killed him.
Also are we suppose to care? What significance does this hold?
Best comment was a guy who said "Now I am not a friend of Hitler or Gaddafi...".
Just me or does anyone else feel sorry for Gaddafi?

How come Muslims can't figure out a way to kill people without dying themselves?

A bit, but I can't act like he didn't get himself into this one by being a ruthless fucking dictator. His son, on the other hand, didn't really have a choice, because he had to live up to his father's expectations.

I did that too and thought: " Since when did he have a son?", but then I realised it´s another, real existing person and decided to write my condolences.

He lost his son, I'd feel sorry for any man who loses a child. That has to be the most excruciating pain in the world. The person you raised from a baby just to die young.
Requiscat in pace.

You can see that I wrote my condolences, and despite the things he did, it´s still horrible to see the own child die, especially in this way, so I feel indeed sorry for him, Gaddafi is still a human with feelings, something we should not forget.

A ridiculous part of me kind of feels annoyed by cowardish strikes to enemy leaders and so on. Classical warfare battles were fought towards the commanders using ground forces and then capturing the commanders as prisoners of war. Now it's just some steath bombers killing everything of an inferior army and blasting every last one of them to pieces. It's sneaking into a city that is not really defended and throwing a grenade to a car labelled 'a terrorist leader' car and blowing up his son, wife and his brother along with him.
I knwo, it's warfare and it's about winning without sacrificing too many of your own soldiers, but I still think it's kind of dirty combat. (especially in cases where terrorist leaders are assassinated, even though there is not really a war going on, I'm looking at you Israel)

How would you like it if your own child died? Yeah, that's what I thought.
Not only do I not know what's going on, I wouldn't know what to do about it if I did.
"He was responsible for killing dozens of his own people during repeated artillery bombardments."
Fuck him, he got what he deserved.
I feel bad.
For the guy who had to suicide.

Nooo, Gaddafi, my sweetheart. :( :(
Someone tell him I'll always be here for him <3
cocks.
I feel bad for the son, considering such a young life is lost for the responsibility of his father, but I have no remorse for Gaddafi, considering he killed many of his own people. He should let this be a reminder of the pain he put his victims families through after he killed them.

...And so the countless sons that Ghadaffi's regime has taken from their fathers.

Pretty sure he was just like his dad, his Son deserved it just as much as he does.
Also he has a choice in following in his father's footsteps, he chose to do so and look where he is now.

If the son had followed in his father's footsteps then, he has gotten what he deserved. It's still a waste of such a young life.
Definitely read Gandalf, as soon as I saw it was about Libya all my interest was raped.
It's war, people are going to die -- people need to die to attain victory.
Gaddafi's a terrible dictator and I doubt his was a son saint either, but still, he's a human being. RIP

Three other people *including you* have said that so far, I still keep laughing a bit even though this subject is somewhat sad.

I kinda do aswell. If you take a look at his accomplishments, you'll see how unfair he's treated. And now that whole son thing.

Yes. You don't kill a man's son, that's the worst thing you could ever do unless the man didn't want his son in the first place. You read parenting books that tell you how beautiful it is, but when it finally happens and your wife/girlfriend gives birth, it's much more beautiful than any words can describe, just like the bond between father and son.
On other hand, stupid Americans commenting that they shouldn't interfere even though the article talks of a BRITISH bomber are stupid.

If he's so accomplished how come he's still just a Colonel?
