Was it electric, or one of those ancient manual ones? I played with a manual typewriter in the early '90s.

Strange thing I noticed is that my old dot matrix printer shares very similar technology: The ink ribbon, and the striker (if that is what it's called).

god damn it all the good movies were on VHS/VCR, none of the classics are on DVD anymore, or if they are, theyre incredibly hard to find.
man, i wish i still had my VCR and all my VHS', those were the days...

Ooo snaps this topic made me go through all my VHS tapes and guess what ? I found a Cartoon Network promo vid. This was from when Cartoon Network was just being introduced to cable T.V. ! How much do you think its worth ?

I'm 15, and I remember them very well, but all the stuff I remembered watching on them was Loonie Toons, and The Clangers (best kids show ever) The Pogles (also awesome) so I'm on the cusp I think.

I was born in 1997, but my family was relatively poor and we used VHS until 2004, IIRC. We also got our first digital camera in... Shit, 2006.

I know them( I am old then, I guess) but they don´t give me a feeling of nostalgia, maybe because they were never important for me.
