I really don't know anything about guns so I just go by look.
I like the FAMAS, because it looks cool, and the SOCOM pistol, (thats the mk. 23 isn't it?)

Like the name says, they were made by FN, which is obviously NOT American, and their other famous guns, like the FAL, were used originally by European countries in their wars.

Well actually, according to Wikipedia, your both wrong. The FN SCAR is built at the FN Manufacturing LLC, plant in Columbia, South Carolina, United States. Now their is a version that is manufactured for law enforcement and commercial use that comes from Fabrique Nationale out of Herstal, Belgium which is then imported to the United States by FNH USA in Fredricksburg, Virginia. Which does make at least the first an "American killing machine."

On topic my favorite is probably the CheyTac Intervention M200 rifle. Pretty badass if you ask me.
