You are one single little life form, an useable spec on this hunk of rock we call a planet that orbits around a spar we call a sun, in what we think is a super massive gas cloud filled with billions of other sparks that is also surrounded by other super massive gas clouds. You are nothing to what's really out there. You are one useless life form out of 6 billion others. Anything you do, or accomplish will have absolutely no affect of this world. Anything you try to make saying you were here and you did something will erode away overtime and be forgotten. When you die, 8 newborns will take your place within a split second.
Progress on this world is redundant, we build these massive cities, and we research all these new types of technologies, and for what? Just so we can probably travel to that other star a few hundred light years away? Why bother? You're a spec trying to cross over to a spark that to our eyes is a massive fireball. It's stupid, and a waste of what your useless time.
You are born, you have goals in your life, those goals have no affect on the world around you, you accomplish some of those goals, and then you die. And then... noting, you won't even be able to remember what you did, so what's the point?

You're a spec in this universe, a useless, worthless spec that can be disposed of quite easily.
