Don't Escape
I'm a werewolf and it's a full moon. I have to find a way to prevent myself from escaping.

Did you play Ragnarok Online? Do you like that game?

Yeah, no kidding. Some stiff competition this year, wish there was a bit more of it but hey... it is what it is. Good luck everyone.
lolol I fell asleep. For 12 whole hours, to be exact. Finals gotta always kill a bitch. DEESQUALLIFIED.

Might as well post it anyway.

Even with it's unfinishedness, this is awesome and hilarious.
So when is the next round going to be announced?
It might not be a bad idea to ask TOFA veterans to fill the rest of the 32 bracket.

More the merrier, though, amrite?
Finally unscrambled and almost revitalising here is the complete story of "Super-Knot Supremacy." Meant to be submitted originally, until a #!^@ and mysterious sound error arose (froze up and collapsed flash many times), I finally figured it out (after too many alternative solutions just went wrong).
And I hope to be submitting a finished version of this to my profile soon (fully animated and with complete backgrounds and lotsa action).

Also, aside, thanks for the many great entries into the "Open Round." Finished or unfinished they were humbling and great (lotsa great art talents here on Newgrounds!).
Inviting veterans would be a great idea, but one day is not enough to let them respond.
Tom and I have been coming up with some interesting ideas to encourage tournament participation next year, it should be exciting :)
We are only waiting on one more judge to submit! After that, I will announce the winners in this thread, as well as the first post of the Round 1 thread on Monday.
The calendar will also be altered to give more time in the remaining rounds, and to compensate for removing a round.

YES! lol I was really hoping I'd either get more time or lose a round, 3 rounds last year was fun and all, but a little stressful when coupled with my other work. 6 rounds would have been brutal on my psyche! lol
Also, in case anyone didn't know, I was the guy who placed 2nd last year. (I saw someone mention getting TOFA Vets, I am one of these.)
In other news, alot of great entries! I commented on some of your videos, good luck to everyone and may we all put on one hell of a show!
For those that pass onto the subsiqent rounds, would you prefer indepth critique of your entires or just a 'what i liked' snippit?
I'd prefer an indepth critique, they're extremely valuable.

I was kinda curious about this subject. Firstly, I would prefer a critique. It'll help me grow as an animator. Nothing too too in depth, just an honest evaluation of strengths and weaknesses.
Secondly, how is this going to be done? In previous years the critiques were on the TOFA site... weren't they? Are we doing it on NG now? And if so, what about the people who haven't submitted to the portal, such as myself? Are you doing the evaluations here in the forum?
I thought everyone was guaranteed entry?
If I advance or don't advance to the next round, I'm always eager for a short, in-depth critique (helps growth and a better understanding. Thanks.

In-depth, but try to keep it short. That's what I prefer.
I always like as in-depth as possible. I don't understand why you'd want less critique.
For me, if people go crazy in-depth, they write like 2 or 3 pages of criticism, and that's a problem not because I don't like constructive criticism, but because after a while I think "uh, you already said that" or "uh I already know that", and it gets boring and torturous.
It's OK though... I want to know what you think regardless!

This.

Are you referring to this post?
It says that at the time it was posted, only a few people had entered, far less than 16 even. So basically anyone who entered at the time would have a really good chance on getting in considering nobody else had entered.
21 People entered in all, and so only 5 people will be lost in this round.
Nittwitt: thanx

Look. I don't want "less critique" or "not in depth" I just want it to be SHORT. In other words, there's a difference between "long" and "in-depth" see? XD
Sorry for the double post, but, please disregard when I said "Crazy in-depth" I meant "crazy amounts" DX

Hey man I worked really hard on putting a flash together because I thought that I was going to get to join tofa no matter what LIKE YOU SAID. THANKS FOR WASTING MY TIME >:(((((((((((((((((((!
This would be an excellent time to put any simple flash movie together and enter, and basically be guaranteed to be in the tournament brackets
Please read the post next time :P
The Calendar has been updated. Every remaining round has been extended by a week!
I won't be doing crit for the open round since it's really just a tester of sorts. I will be doing them for subsiquent rounds.
Best of luck to everyone

This makes me happy... assuming I've made it to the next round that is

No I got ya lol I agree with both! I was just liking what he was saying. Last year they got pretty in depth but were like... a paragraph long, so thatll work.
yes, I usually leave paragraph sized reviews.
The results will be announced very soon! Stand by...
