Well first off I will start this art thread with a robo pirate eating a lolipop:
Whoaww what creepy robot! Haunt my dream.
And the counter rises... again. Except this one actually was creepy.

Hehe, thanks man.
This seems like a start of a semi-decent drawing in Photoshop. It can be far more detailed.
Personally, I choose now where my lightning will drop and start working from there on. Use smaller brushes and go for some details now. The 'background' needs to go though. Those thick obvious, brush lines don't look good.
Nice start for your thread though.
A rather disgusting-looking git that should have been disposed of ages ago.

Thanks for this helpful advice! Its pretty hard for me to do the details, but I will try to work them out tomorrow ;)
some anatomy studying would do wonders ; )

I understand that you want to show your progress, but theres kind of a minimum work requirement...
And all you added were eyes.

Thanks man. I didnt say something cause I didnt want to start a fight with kakashi again and that would have been really tiring...
Aaaaand done! Maybe I will add another lightsource...

it could do with a few more details rather than another lightsource, the stalks on its head would be a nice touch, as would some ripples on its tail fin, making his stubby fingers a bit longer, and adding a bit of texture and a small splash of colour to it

Yeah I will work on it a bit more...
Also here is something else I made, a ladybug:
the fangs are a bit big and out of perspective with the rest of the head, and i hope your planning on adding colour to something soon

You... added teeth.
And put some gradients along the line.
I'd hardly call that progress but okay.
you need to add more shading (to like... ALL of the pieces I've seen so far) it all looks so boring and flat because you have high-lights but No shading (so you do have SOME) but it's very minimal and could use ALOT more darkening, and blending.
