Royal wedding: anyone give a damn?

Quite frankly I don't, and never will.

I think it's great Price William and Kate Middleton are getting married (basically all the facts you need to know) yet my local news station and newspaper believe that we need to know every single little detail about their wedding down to what colour of tablecloth there will be, or how many flowers are on the wallpaper in the ballroom.

Am I alone here, or do we see eye to eye on this?

I care about the wedding, just because as far as the royals go, I think William is alright, and he's the future king, so it is kind of important.
But your right, details about tablecloths and flowers are just pointless.

However, I wish people would fuck off about protesting. They're getting married, why cant people just let them enjoy their wedding instead of making it all political?

Well, to be fair, it's probably more important than any other celebrity wedding out there. I mean, I know that royalty doesn't have much power in England or really anywhere else but at least it's a position that used to have power. I will probably not watch it nor would I really watch any other wedding on TV. I usually just watch shows I want to or else something that's a lot more important on the news like the President's news conference.
