Well, hi there newgrounders.

I'm Alexalmo and i'm working in a story. I want it to be a newgrounds serie and it will be of zombies. I would like to know if someone is interested in that. I have the storyline in my head and part of the first chapters already written. It will have a main story with the main characters and some random stories about another people who try to survive the undeads.

The main story will be divided in two parts at first, until the characters of both of them join and then there will be only one main story. In the first part, a famous rock band called "Deep Wound" , formed by the vocalist Axel, the guitarrist Connor, the bass player Bastian, and the drummer Dereck, go to a very important concert and after it decide to camp in the forest, instead the normal luxury hotel suite of everyday.
When night falls, they make a campfire and start telling horror histories and leyends. Axel says that there is a tomb in the middle of a cementery with a man who is not completely dead, and he says that he even went there and heard the voices. The rest of the band don't believe him at first, but Axel convinces them to go and check. Some of them starts to fear a bit for his security about it, and decide to go the next night. Then they go with the shovels to the specific tomb and digs it.
They dig all the ground and finally reachs the coffin. It has lots of chains and a big heavy rock on it. They already can hear the knockings and the mouns of the man inside. They all have the same question: how did he manage to survive all this time, with no food, air or water? They move the rock and broke the chains with the showel, and finally open the coffin's door. When they do it, the "alive" man gets up and bites Bastian in the neck, who dies in a few seconds. The others try to escape and climb, but then the zombie reachs Derek's arm and bites it. Derek, with his friend's help, gets away from the zombie and reachs the top of the hole. The zombie then ignores them and keeps eating Bastian. The others three then run out of the cementery and call the police and an ambulance.
Derek goes to the hospital and Axel goes with him to accompany him, and Connor goes home.

In the other part of the main story, the five most popular students in a public high school (Bruce is the smartest, Connie is the friendliest, Tim is the strongest and captain of the football team, Rachel is the hottest and the cheerleader, and Anthony is the funniest) go to the Deep Wound big concert in Tim's car.
They enjoy the concert as all the fans do. After the concert, they go to a disco and have a party. After it, they decide to go home. During the trip, Tim's, drunk as hell, smash the car on a tree in the middle of the forest.
After a big argument they decide to look for help, and they find a house. There lives a man near to the 50 years old. He helps them and gives them food and some beds to sleep. The house used to be for large families, but he lives alone, so he doesn't have problem with leaving them to use some rooms. Anthony makes some jokes saying that he is a psycopath that will kill them all when they are asleep or use them for some sick cientific research, but the man doesn't take it seriously and laughs with him.
Some hours later, when they are having dinner, someone knocks the door, and the man, called Ed, goes to open the door. He sees a man, a woman and a young girl. The woman is pale and is clamped by her husband. He says that her wife is gravely ill, and Ed hosts them too. An hour later, the woman dies, and they bury her in the garden. Finally, they all go to sleep, but the man keeps crying in the garden for hours. The next day, the girl, called Erika goes to console his father, who woke up already because his sadness and kept crying. Anything that Erika says is enough for her father to calm down. After an argument, the mans says he heard something under the ground, but Erika says that it was just her imagination. "Don't you want you mother to live?!" says her father, and starts digging with his naked hands... until he reachs her wife's, and helps her out. Erika and the students, who went there atracted by the yells, contemplate the scene amazed and stupefied. At first it looked like everything was going well, and then the wife bites her husband's shoulder. Horrified, he moves away from her, and Ed comes because the shouts of the shriekings of the girls, and tries the woman to calm down. She bites Ed in the arm and also bites Rachel, who tried to fight her. Finally, they all run into the house, excepting the man, who tried to calm down the woman again and got bited in the neck, dying instantly. The others takes some sheets, corner the woman and tie her with the sheets and some ropes. Then they lock her in a room. They put the man in a bed. Then, some hours later, Ed and Rachel starts to feel ill and goes to the same room, lying in differents beds. Without coverage in that part of the forest, and afraid of going to far from the house and get lost, they just give Ed and Rachel some antibiotics from Ed's medecins and waits the ill to go over...

Looks like you've gotten your share of voice acting requests. Time to pick and choose! =)

On that note, I'm also throwing my hat into the ring for voice-acting.
I'm actually rolling with quality equipment, and I've gotten some practice. I'm generally a deep-voice type, but I can emulate any male character.

I'm amazed to see there are people interested in my job. I like it because I am really thrilled in this story and can't wait to see it in Newgrounds.

Now that I have some actors, I just need an artist. Do you know about someone?

PS: You can download a program called Audacity, which can modify the voice and make it sound clearer.

This is my first ever post on newgrounds, but I am a complete flash addict and have a lot of experience in animating and a fair bit in drawing. I would love to help you out with designing characters and scenery. If your already have previous designs that need expanding, email them to me so that I can mimic the drawing style. Lol. I don't use Audacity (except for converting from WAV)

I use Cakewalk Sonar 8, which is slightly outdated, but is a higher tier of DAW, and it works in conjunction with my M-Audio ProjectMix (google it)

I have Protools, but it hates my computer, and I neglected to acquire an iLok.

I want this to be an open serie. I mean, I want to make a first episode and see if it has success. Then we will work with the next episodes and put them in the portal.

So, for every X time, we will make a new episode, until the story is complete.

No, don't create another thread. It's unnecessary, and will probably cause confusion.
