3.80 / 5.00 4,200 ViewsStumbled onto this story while browsing nation states. Its kinda old, but still. Apparently, a six year old kid was suspended from school...for crying.
Serves him right for being a little bitch, he's six... It's time for him to man up.
Yeah, whatever.

Damn that sucks. Kid is a pretty chill mod, that school should be ashamed of itself for being mean to kid!
What a fucking pussy, he should have been expelled.
God damn, I hate our education officials some time.
Emotional torment is being considered a classroom disruption in class.
That's cold
That will teach him to show his emotions.
What!? He shouldn't have got suspended for that!
Why didn't he get the cane?

Frankly all it takes is one embarrassing situation like that in front of his peers to mess him up socially for the rest of his life.
What a stupid thing to do, honestly if it was a high school maybe I wouldn't give a shit (although that would also be a little bit on the stupid side too) but come on lol.
"The zero-tolerance policies adopted by many schools have seen kids "tossed out for the craziest things," Mr. Whitehead said in a telephone interview. He cited a greatest hits of seemingly head-scratching insanity: A case where a Grade 4 student who gargled Scope mouthwash after lunch was suspended because it violated the school's drugs and alcohol policy; a high-school student suspended because the nail clippers he had at school were considered a weapon; even one instance of a youngster bringing a drawing of an uncle, who was then serving in Iraq, carrying his gun, which the school said violated its weapons policy. "
Holy shit, man. Is this one of those 'only in America' cases?

Pretend not to care about anything, but be bothered by everything.
You may be fast on the roads but it's no use on the track.
ScaryPicnic made me do it.My letterboxd.
If they had done that in P.S. 60, I'd be suspended for years.
No wonder why public education have been going downhill.

This is what zero-tolerance policies do. Stupid. Very stupid indeed.

I feel bad for Kid :/
Emphasis are great!
He's learning early that crying won't get you out of being fucked by the long dick of the law unless you're an attractive female.
Should have sent him to the principal's office until he settled down. Suspension is stupid.

This so much
What the fuck? when I had a mental breakdown at school they didn't suspend me.
I have break downs if I don't take my medications...
This suspension is absolute bullshit especially for the kids age. It's normal for kids to cry.

Half of you are idiots. This apparently violated a no tolerance clause in the school rules, which those are becoming extremely stricter by the day. I don't know the circumstances of what caused him to do this and neither do you.
Maybe he was loud, maybe he just wouldn't stop, but this doesn't mean he gets to be ridiculed or insulted or get a suspension. He should have just gotten time by himself or with someone in the school who deals with this (counselor, another faculty member) but telling him to man up?
I hate the system.

People like you shouldn't go to normal schools and I sincerely hope you don't. You're a burden upon society.
