Flash Animation Limits Question

Hey guys, I admit to not knowing a whole hell of a lot about flash animation, or how flash handles lots of activity on the screen, etc etc. I made this little character last night out of pieces I painted in photoshop. I'd be interested in knowing how well a game would run with a character made up of parts like this? How far would I get before there was 'too much' etc.

I wouldn't mind making a side scroller some day, way in the future maybe. Also would there be a better place to post this on one of the other areas? I'm really only familiar with the art forum.

Er, I didn't mean to post that little bit about 'where else can I post this' ignore that, accidentally copied it form my art forum post, also seems like NG put a space in the link, but it's just to my file dump here. I'd love to know what you guys think and advice. Someone over one art forum said I should be too worried about it.

Also, I think, um, plants vs zombies, they did their game like this as well right?

Using images like that won't really take up too much room if you can make all character movements like that, but the real problem is that some people may experience lag when playing, although I'd say most would be able to play it at a steady frame rate.
So yeah, as long as there's not too many textures or huge backgrounds, it should work fine.
Great work by the way, has a lot of potential.

Thanks for the response. I think the best thing to do is probably make a few more and do a test or something. MY programming skills are seriously lacking but maybe I'll be able to find a programmer willing to give it a shot. I was thinking of making this dude a first level 'boss' or something, dunno. =P Thanks again!
