I would never boo. I've seen my favorite team lose before. I wouldn't be happy about it, but I would never boo. I did feel bad for the Canucks, my theories on how shitty it would be to lose on your own turf were proved when I saw a tear go down one of their faces.
People who are always telling each other that their better or that the other person sucks is why I stopped playing sports. I enjoy the games, but I hate the angry competitive shit that follows. I always watch the Stanley Cup, regardless of the teams. I, of course, am more into it when I know the team/they're local, but I still love the sport. Hockey has always been a part of me. When I was four, we saw all of the games that lead up to the Providence Bruins winning the Calder Cup. I loved every moment of it, and those memories stuck with me. I love skating and do so when ever I can. We knew Aaron Downey. I still have his stick from the games of 1998-99.
I just thought it was awesome how well the Bruins did. I wasn't trying to insinuate that I was better than any of you guys. I just thought it was asinine that the Canuck fans booed at the end and while some had the cup. And no man, I really wouldn't have booed if that happened to me. I just would have been a little sad that we lost and acknowledged the better Canuck players for their skill.

I know that some people are exactly how you described, but you shouldn't generalize. To do so makes you no better, and I know I made that mistake earlier myself.

Considering the fact that Canuck fans are rioting and burning stuff in their own city, I don't think Bruins fans would do exactly the same thing as them.

Well I feel sorry for serious hockey fans and the team, however I do not feel sorry for any rioter that gets pinged in the head by a tear gas canister or a flashbang.

Well now we KNOW Vancouver is shit. Not trying to be rude towards Canucks fans but seriously: 8-1, 4-0, 5-2, 4-0 again? The only games I enjoyed were the first two after that they were just competed for air. I wouldn't mind if Boston won by a small amount cuz I'm a fan of Tyler Seguin but 4-0 was really dissapointing.

What are you talking about? The audience in Vancouver (inside the stadium) was very polite about the Bruins winning. They even gave Thomas a long standing ovation. I can't even being to think how fucking terrible Boston would have been if Vancouver won over there.

It's disappointing the Canucks lost, making 1993 still the last year a Canadian team won the Stanley Cup, but at least the Canucks came close. But really, rioting? There's way more important things to riot about.
