Break stuff over your head, like bricks. That should do the trick.

They make a magic potion to make you forget about things.

It's called bleach.

Okay, so you remember things with your brain, right? Now, when you want something to be gone, you get rid of the source. Do you see where I'm going with this?

Sorry dude but unless your mind is fucked (through one way or another) while you're hearing the spoilers, the spoilers are going to crop up as soon as you watched the movie.

I remember when I heard about spoilers for the book "The Great Gatsby". I read it in class after my brother made a book report on it when he was in high school. I doubt you Internet folks will ever indeed to read it, but I shall not tell you what happened. My mom even said that I would probably forget the ending if I ever did read it, but she was wrong. She probably shouldn't have even said anything, that's tempting fate.

It is possible! just don't believe it. I remember when Heavy Rain was released. It took only hours until the Origami Killer was revealed all over the internett. I didn't belive it, forgot it, and loved the plot twist.

Also I am playing Final Fantasy VII now and I just met Aerith and she is so fucking anyoing! Can't someone please stab her something?

try occupying your mind with something else, read a book, go for a walk, anything that has nothing or little to do with what was spoiled. If it's late at night go to sleep right after you've done all that. It works for me(sometimes).

I remmeber this one time when I heard about the book "The Great Gatsby" and I was told the end. I was then told I would just forget about it once I eventually read it, but I ended up remembering it. That didn't stop it from being a great book of course. I think there's really no way of forgetting it if you think about it the first time you hear it. Just try to ignore it the first time you hear about it and you might be able to simply forget about it.

Just pray the other parts of whatever it is that was spoiled for you are also awesome enough to keep you watching/playing/reading/living.

Best way to forget them is as soon as you realise, close your eyes, rest your forehead on your arms and your elbows on the desk. Concentrate fully on looking at your closed eyelids and push the skin on your forehead together without using your arms as hard as you can while thinking about nothing but all of this and the darkness you can see. If you do this as fast as you can you should be concentrating too much on nothing for it to enter your longer term memory.

Its worked for me several times before, and the first time I did it took me 2 years to remember I had been spoiled, at which point it hadnt mattered for ages. Speed is the key to dong this right, do it the isntant you have realised.

I think the best course of action is to deprive you brain of oxygen for about 3-5 minutes. Then BAM! You forgot about the spoiler!

Don't think about it, but don't think about not thinking about it, if that makes any sense.

If it's something your going to dive into soon it's most likely not going to go away unless you go cold turkey from it for a years and focus on something else even more interesting.

That's why you avoid threads on a subject that are like 15 pages +
