Drawing a picture in Flash. 2011-04-09 20:51:28 Reply

Ok I have been drawing pictures in flash for a little while now, but am now positive I am exporting it the wrong way, I was watching Jazza in one of his livestreams draw the castle crasher crew in his own image and saw a few things...

One being I saw him go into Publish settings and make it into a PDF. file, another being He was doing some key command to pop it into this picture format, The best way for me to explain was it was a seperate window opening up and showing the picture. Heres a link

Jazza livestream video

I always do have some issues exporting as is but I just need to know the simpler way.

I think he only had PNG checked in the publish settings (Ive never seen PDF in export..) and could have been cycling the F12 function.

This is what I do, at least.

Sounds like Fireworks is your "preferred program", in your computer settings, to open .png files then. I use Windows pic & fax viewer.
