Personaly I'm in my freshman year of public college. I'm currently taking intro to film and art history. Before I transfer to a full time film school I'm hoping to get started on some sculpting classes. Also ceramics is retarded.
I've been out of college for many years now, I went for fine art then switched to animation. I disagree with you about the ceramics, I took it my sophomore years and fell in love with it
fuck all of the college art classes ive taken
Hmm, I'm in college, but I'm studying in engineering! That does not prevent me from painting... I don't think skill improves much with classes, compared to practice. Classes are just an occasion to try something new and study people who are better than you... which is something you can do on your own!! ^^

I'm a history major at my school, I dropped an intro drawing course just before this semester started because we were supposed to buy just over $100 worth of art materials and go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art (NYC). I couple of my friends who stuck with it hate the instructor. Origionality in the class is discouraged, the instructor just wants them to copy the classics (Poussin, Davinci, etc.).
Just testing things out l popcorn
