Sims 3 Create a Sim

So I recently got Sims 3 for my 360, and I already made one sim. Now, I want to create another sim for the same game, not family related, so the two could be in the "same world". However, I cant find anything that lets me create another sim. Please help, thx.

You can't after you click create family, and start the game you can't make another one. Yea Sims 3 sucks.

Of course you can, but it's complicated as hell, you just have to leave your family or something, I can't remember it ok right now, but I know it's possible, unless they removed it.

It possible in the computer one but it not in the consoles
