On the contrary, the UN usually gets on other people's asses for intentionally hurting civilians.

We're the land of the free but if you do something we don't like we'll put you in a prison cell and isolate you from the world for the rest of your life.

So if you intentionally break reasonable laws, you should go unpunished?

I don't think it's the punishment people are worried about because he does deserve to be punished, buuut if this is true then I think everyone can agree torturing him is wrong, especially when the courts haven't decided whether he is guilty or not a fundamental human right.

There isn't any guarantee he is being tortured. He's probably in jail, and you've got some dumbfuck extremist conspiracy theorist righting up bullshit stories.

The second one isn't based on wikileaks, but can be found in this article.

LOL that wasn't bush. That was an iraqi informant who misled the country, and the president following that red herring like bees to honey.

I agree with that to a very certain and small extent, Like the laws against marijuana, lsd, and psilocybe. God forbid you do something to your own body that has no long term effects and doesn't hurt anyone.

Think before you shove your foot in your mouth.

Please name me an example where Wikileaks actually leaked any information about these things you mentioned.

He isn't being tortured.

What is there to torture him about? There is no information to extract. He is just an Army private who gave some classified documents to wikileaks. He isn't part of a terrorist organization.

The only people saying he is being tortured are a few random sites, and they have 0 evidence to back it up.

They have not. However, the person that I quoted supported leaking anything and everything. Thanks for your shitty attempt at taking me out of context. Have a nice day.

I'm sure everyone who thinks he's getting tortured would all stop the cops from tazing a college student in public, because you don't stand for torture.

That's not torture. That's apprehending a suspect unnecessarily. Torture would have been tazing him for more than a minute.

No, but secret government documents are classified for a reason. They contain sensitive information that not everyone should know about.

The government is not going to intentionally hurt the public. The government is controlled by the people, and governs with the consent of the people. At least, ours does.

Stop insulting everyone you reply to. It makes you look like an ass.

BTW, what's bad about wikileaks then? Why is publishing leaked files about troops fatally murdering innocent people a bad thing? How has wikileaks in any way supported terrorists?

Who said anything about terrorists. What he was saying is that the person he quoted supported 100% transparency into the government and military.

I'll spare your sensitive girlish feelings then. I'm sorry.

Because there is any other type of murdering beyond fatal. You obviously don't know what you're talking about either. Just another media zombie, taking what you read as fact. Almost all of those "innocents" are actually carrying rifles and weapons and pointing them at us. That, or they brign along their innocents for the ride. LOL ITS OK, LETS JUST CRAM A VAN FULL OF MEN WITH RIFLES, AND THEN PUT A CHILD IN THEIR AS WELL, THE US WILL LOOK BAD IF THEY SHOOT AT US. It's happened before, and it's bullshit. Sure, this person is innocent, but you really expect us to not do anything about assholes shooting at us because they have a child with them? Wikileaks released a cable detailing what allies and overseas US assets would cause the most damage to the nation if attacked. This is clearly painting a target for those with bad intentions.

I seem to be the only one that needs PROOF when it comes to these things. Just because Wikileaks says something doesn't make it true. I am gonna need more proof that Wikileaks when it comes to something like this.

On the link, it says there's a petition you can sign. I'm not giving those fuckers my email address, you know why? Because it's not a petition, it's a way to find trouble makers and monitor them.
