In search of inspiration?
UKF's second birthday is happening right now and some of the top producers are spinning tracks LIVE

FluxPavillion is up currently, followed by Loadster, Bare Noize, Brookes Brothers and closing with Bar 9.

Enjoy ;)

So far 3/4 songs ive heard in this competition are used xKore's eden samples.

+1 for originality guys :D

Because mixing down your own percussion isnt like 50% of making dubstep imo.

Lol you obviously don't have a clue to what you are saying. Most Dubstep use the same sounds for transitions. Listen to more of xKores song, you'll notice a strange pattern arise. No one sampled xKore, but people may have sampled other artists without us knowing

LOL. How's your down syndrome? People have admitted to using his samples. I am really disappointed by people using his samples. Kinda pisses me off and reminds me that there is little talent on this site. Good day.

Yep. And really, especially with dub, a lot of people get the same sounds from the same type of packs anyways. Its all resampling anywho.

Im not saying its a crime or anything, or that there should even be a point deduction. Im saying its pretty laughable how many people are using the VERY recognizable kick and snare from Eden, by themselves(no layers).

Even using things straight from packs sounds pretty bad most of the time, no oompfh. Its mostly about how you mix down the sub for kicks and the right frequencies + distortion for snares, from already compressed and stereo samples. But hey why work, xkore can do it for ya.

I'm having troubles finding what you mean as far as this contest goes. And how do you know the people didn't layer, do you have the amazing ability to know automatically how people made their songs?

It's not that difficult to make similar sounding kicks you know. To be honest, nearly ALL percussion sound would be the same if it wheren't for the fact that you could mess with them to an exact science.

Thank you for completely missing the point and calling me retarded at the same time ass. "His" samples are probably something that half of the Fl studio community uses, sorry to break it to you

Chill dude. Who the fuck are you to insult him?

Go listen to some dubstep on Youtube or something. The samples are all the same. UKF Dubstep artists use the same samples.
Who the fuck cares?
They samples aren't the basis of the song, to me, it's how the samples are arranged. Make it different than the original, and who the fuck cares what samples are used? As long as it sounds good, it's good.

Get off this site if you think we have no talent. And stop making generalizations. Not a single user on here is what you think they are.

Clearly everyone must've gotten their samples from xKore because he's oh soooo good. It's not hard to mix your sounds to sound like they came from another song.

Even if people do use it, who cares, if they aren't diliberately copying him as far as his songs, then great, they are just instrument samples, everyone uses them. Unless you actually make every single sample that you have, and no that doesn't mean all of the samples you've edited that where premade.

Anywho, come on guys, only a short amount of time before this shit gets serious!!!
