I feel like the American people are borrowing and spending more than they can possibly handle and frankly... so is our government. Do you think this is an accurate portrayal of our future and if so... how can we change it?

Its funny because the average Chinese citizen makes $7,000 a year while the average American makes $47,000 per year. It is also funny that despite having well over 4x our population China only has a GDP that is a 1/3 of America.

You do know most Chinese people live in poverty, and the rest like my mom's family are fairly middle-class/high-class and rich. Those are the people that people are "worried" about, not the village people that make up more than half of China.

Also, this is actually good for the economy, being the cheap/simple shit is being made for pennies a day, the price of that stuff decreases, which means more money can flow to other items.

as for the jobs, it can be made up for by skilled labor, like manufacturing complex jet/aircraft components, , complicated computers parts. and etc.

also that's not true. I know a lot of Chinese people either relatives from my mom's side or their friends who have successful jobs in China. it's really more of the lower-income people that do that, and it certainly is far higher than 1%.

The U.S. has many, many problems it needs to iron out, but I don't expect anything from China unless it's government undergoes a massive change in leadership. I highly doubt that we will be working for the Chinese government anytime soon. Besides, the way the video way portrayed seem unrealistic.

Anyone heard of the word Economic Imperialism? No? Well...that's when one government that has a superior economy dominates another country through colonization, spheres of influences, etc. The reason why this commercial is valid is because we are going down a spiral of decline whereas China is reaping benefit after benefit.

In the end, I believe China will overrun the US economically very soon. See the Map below: Notice how China is vastly less lit than America and Europe. Know that 30 years ago China was less lit before. With the emergence of electricity, China is becoming more and more advanced (like they were approximately 700 years ago) and I expect China to become more and more lit as China begins to greaten it's energy usages.

Please take this seriously, because I've done quite a good bit of research on the subject, and if we are not to actually change, America will vastly decline further.
