Renamon's Beginnings
As the sun began to creep over the peak of the quiet mountaintop, several birds could be heard chirping, making their various nests and buildings as they busily worked to find food and shelter for their newborns. It was the beginning of a bright sunny day in the country of Dreshire, and nobody had awoken yet. The only things that appeared to be up and stirring were the birds, bears, and other various forest creatures, but one amongst them all seemed to stand out as she stepped out from the foliage of several trees and bushes, looking into the sunlight. It was Renamon, the famed "Gaurdian of the forest of Dreshire" or that was what all its inhabitants had referred to her as.
She let out a soft yawn as she stretched, and patted some leaves and dust away from her fur. She was a magnificent creature, standing 6'5", having yellow and white fur, her eyes being a very unusual shade of blue and black, whereas anyone else would have white in their eyes. She reached down and grabbed her bow, placing an arrow from the sheath beside it inside as she stood back up, examining the mountainside for any potiential targets for food. As she scanned the cliffside, she noticed a slight brustling from a bush a few feet away from her. Carefully she turned, examining it closely, she noticed a bunny rabbit hop from out of the bush "There you are..." she whispered to herself as she pulled back the bow in the string. She waited a few seconds, silently apologizing to the bunny for ending its life before she release the bow, and sighed as it hit the side of the bunny with a light 'thwack!' As she walked closer, she sighed, kneeling down beside the bunny and removing the arrow.
Her ears lifted catiously as she looked around, thinking she heard something. As her eyes came to focus on a bush, she heard a growling coming from that direction and stood nervously, sliding another arrow into the bow as she looked up, and spotted it. A large, scary, mean looking grizzly bear came shuffling out from the bushes, and stood on its hind legs, coming close to 7 feet tall. Renamon straightened up, pulled back the arrow, and said "Come get some," before she released the string.
To be continued....

Notes: I know this seems a little nerdy, but hey, I love writing, and I just want some thoughts on how good I did.

Not bad at all, if I do say so myself. I suppose if I had to say anything is it's somewhat short, but I'm guessing this is like the prologue to it all, so that's understandable. :) Pretty good detail too, with good amounts of description to the actions going on. Good job, can't wait to see more! :D

Yeah, I wanted to start off the story small so I could get a feel of things and how and where the plot would begin to develop. Generally I plan to make this sort of a mixture between mystery and adventure, and hopefully I'll be able to introduce a few more main characters into the plot. It's really hard to get a perspective of where you are gonna take the story when you start off. So many possibilities, y'know?
Keep watching for more!
