So, three new members this month. berthon, illuminate and platypuspwn, respectively.

ZeldaFreak701, LoliTastic, Soulofjazzman, and Tetris have yet to add me. Add me now please. Or you know, if you just hate me that's cool too...

Also, I like to hive five all the people who are now "ambassadors". 150$ worth of free games is worth an 80$ price cut right?

Glad to see this thread still going strong! I got my 10 free NES games and I must say, they're awesome (with the exception of Yoshi, Wrecking Crew, and NES Golf). But the other games are well worth it! Looking foward to the GBA games now. All 5 of the games they announced are awesome! And I'm glad they're releasing the first Mario vs. DK since I'm not a fan of "March of The Minis". Wonder what the other 5 will be. Here's hoping to Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap and Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga!

You're added to my member list (link in my sig) buddy. I'll add you when I get home to my wi-fi.

@Vinstigator, I'm playing Yoshi's cookie (I need a good puzzler) and Zelda 1 for the first time. I always thought it was too hard before, but I've finished two dungeons, and I'm loving it.

I'm a bit annoyed that Nintendo released all their good games in the last half year, so as to make me bankrupt.

Super Mario Land 3d for my birthday and Mario Kart 7 from Christmas it is then!

Obviously you aren't required to post your code, but a yes or no would be appreciated.

Since you like puzzle games, are you getting Tetris Axis? the main reason I want to get it is because of the online play. I loved Tetris DS and they say this one is on par with that. Plus, it's $30.00!

No I never posted my code bexcause I already have 81 people on my friends list. However, a few of them are inactive so I will most likely clear them out. My friend code is 1332-7740-2704

By the way, I downloaded Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins from the eShop! If you haven't played it before, you should definitely check it out! It is the best gameboy Mario game ever released. I recorded a video of my downloading/playing it, check it out...

I haven't gotten around to doing a formal post for this page yet, so I'll do one now.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Thread rules:

1. This thread is for posting friend codes, QR images, and pictures using mii QR and/or on-line play photos. Un-related photos will "derail" the thread.

2. Arranging on-line play, discussing on-line play, and discussing upcoming on-line features, discussing meeting up with thread participants in real life, are suitable discussion topics and other topics may become relevant to the thread based on what functions Nintendo creates for the 3ds. Un-related discussions will "derail" the thread.

3. Try to avoid having discussions about 3ds games that don't directly involve on-line play. Those discussions are better suited for official game threads (example:).

4. Don't post your friend-code if you don't plan on adding other people's codes. This creates frustration and confusion, and is considered "trolling".

5. Keep this thread clean. No sexual, obscene, excessively violent, hateful, or racist images and posts are allowed in this thread. This goes for the messages over your mii in your friend list. Kids who have parents supervising their use of this thread and their 3ds may get in trouble if we post inappropriate material. And yes, making a penis on your mii's face is not allowed.

6. Don't refuse to add someone's friend code then rant on about why they are stupid/ugly/a homosexual/ etc... We don't want to create conflict in the thread, and if someone refuses to add your code, accept it and move on. If the reason behind the refusal is personal, avoid cluttering up the threads and instead use other forms of communication (like the PM system) to settle your argument.

7. If you plan on selling/loaning/not using your 3ds, please make a post explaining that you won't be active for a period of time. We don't want people wondering if you're dead, when you are really just taking a break from your 3ds.

8. Don't make fun of a user because of their lack of skill level (or excess of skill for that matter) in on-line play.

9. In accordance to forum rules, the maximum number of "member" posts per page is one.

10. Don't make "official" posts if you haven't been chosen to make them. We don't want people posting possibly false information, and if you want to volunteer to make official posts, just ask someone who already does so.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

The basic how-to guide:

1. Posting your friend code: First start up your 3ds and go to the home menu. Select the orange smiley face at the top of the screen to view your friends list. Go to your mii's card and your code should be on the top screen. Post in the thread with your code. It's as simple as that!

2. Adding someone to your list: Since we can't physically bring our 3ds's close enough for a local registration, choose Internet when registering a friend's code. Enter a name for the person if they have not yet entered your code. Don't worry about the name, when they add you, their name will be fixed. To ensure that someone knows you added them, send the person a PM with your friend code inside.

3. Uploading a QR image: When making a mii, you have the choice to save them as a QR card image. This makes a bar-code type image specific to your mii save on your SD card. This acts just like a regular photo, so by using an SD card reader, you can post your QR card picture (which is in the 100NIN03 and 101NIN03 files) just like uploading a regular image to the BBS. You can skip the SD card reader by uploading the photo through your 3ds' internet browser as well.

Since the price drop, we've had mor activity than we ever had in months.

I always add everyone on the list, with a couple exceptions.

Tetris has had his account deleted, so his original post and code are gone.

Soulofjazzman has only posted once in hisentire NG lifespan, and failed to add any one in this thread.

Question of the week: What third party 3ds game are you most looking forward to? I am looking ofrward MGS 3, because I really want to get into the MGS series, even though it requires the anolog stick add on.

Happy gaming!

I have returned. Woo.
Anyway, I got Star Fox yesterday, which I shouldn't really have done since I had a debit card spending binge on the app store when my computer's charger broke.
I haven't played the original Star Fox 64, or any space and fox combination games for that matter, so this is my first view of the series.

I can't say I'm pleased with what I got for shelling out 40 quid, but I can see why there are so many devoted fans, It's just fun. But there's not much content, although it can last a long time, if you're as crap at it as I am.

And the voices. Oh god, the voices. Except for Falco, the voices are horrible. Slippy makes me want to scratch out my ear drums.

One thing I don't get is the multiplayer. They missed out on a big chance and selling point, missing out online play. The camera feature would have been cool online, but if you go on local multiplayer, which unfortunately won't happen to most 3DS owners due to the relatively small amount of people who own them, the camera feature is useless. You could just turn to your side, wave and say hi.

Overall, it's a really fun game, but it has not got much content and voices that sound horrible. But, I still recommend it. I'd say around 7-7.5 out of 10.

And don't argue with me nostalgia fanatics, it's just my point of view. Plus, it's quite a high score anyway.

Quite a good idea, I'll start inquirering to anyone who is willing to disclose there location.

How about a Country/time zone type of thing, and you could say stuff like provinces or states if you want to get specific.

Just got your message and added you!

By the way guys, I just picked up Tetris Axis for $19.99 brand new! How and where you say? At Target, they are having a promotion. If you buy Tetris Axis or any other select games, you instantly get a $10.00 Target gift card! Since Tetris was $29.99 and I instantly got the gift card, I got the game for $10.00 less! The offer ends this Saturday so if you are thinking about picking up Tetris, now is the time to do it!
