I bought COD 4.

How come everyone's been saying "it's amazing" the game is boring, just plain old boring.

It's the only COD I've ever played and it's not even fun, almost every game I have is better than it.

it's one step above socom 3, but that's all, I had more fun playing Jericho and that game got 6/10 on most sites due to poor level design, but it was still fun to play and it was well worth the 6$.

Jesus Christ I'm so fucking disappointed.

What actually do you hate about it apart from it being boring? I though CoD 4 had a great campaign, unfortunately CoD games have gone severely downhill now.

Well that's your opinion, great.

Call of Duty is the same thing every single game. People who imply it was ever "really good" at some point are absolutely insane.

I think the games are fun, so I keep playing them. So ok.

but most importantly how I don't find it any fun what so ever which I know I already said but why play a game if it's not fun to play? It defeats the main purpose.

Its really good man.

CoD 4, sadly, was the turning point for the CoD series, a turn for the slightly worse. I mean, I believe that CoD 4 was the best entry in the series so far, and I'm waiting for IW or whats left of it to end the "Modern Warfare" series with a bang, and a good one with that.

I find it pretty fun. It was the only game whose online multiplayer kept me playing over the years.

I think it's just because you bought the game having high expectations and wanting to prove that it's not that it's overhyped.

Its really good man.

I beat the whole thing, the only good part is the part with the stealth, which gets completely butchered at the end of the mission when the guy gets hit in the leg and can't walk and than you set him down and have to fight off some guys.

I would to respectfully disagree. I thought CoD 4 was the best one, and has since been the only good one to come out.

Cod 4 is one of those games that was -much- better on PC than on consoles for a lot of people... like valve games.
