Anyone else notice that in Firefox 4 the text is blurry and smaller? I disabled hardware acceleration, but see no difference at all.

You can just change it in options. I reccomend Verdana at 16.

I had the same problem and turning off hardware acceleration worked, did you remember to restart your browser after turning it off?

I installed it, compared it with Chrome, Chrome was still faster, still using Chrome.

The point of a MINI is because it is cute and customizable, I would still rather have the Lambo due to it being fast as fuck.

If you don't like the layout you can always change it back by click on the menu bar option.

It's just anti-aliasing on the fonts, frankly it looks better if you have a good screen to accompany it

Loving the new firefox, just downloaded it.
It's rather pretty and noticably faster.

Also, loving the "app tabs"

I haven't noticed that. I'm more pissed about the positioning of certain buttons and not being able to move them.

For the smaller text, if you hold alt down and press the + sign, it will increase the size. If you hold down alt and press the - sign, it will decrease the size.

I really wish I could see the difference that others are seeing with different browsers. I mean I've tried Chrome, Opera, and Firefox and really haven't noticed any difference in speed. Maybe my computer just sucks.

I'll compare them in Adobe browserlab, but Anti-Aliasing always looks good. It's why I don't like webbrowsing on Windows.

Yep, there's a bit of text smoothing there but it's still hideous in comparison to OS-X.
The upper one is Firefox 3.6, the other one is Firefox 4 RC.

I never really used Chrome, I believe it is faster as they say.. But it's lacks the Dictionary and other ad ons like firebug
At least, that's what I think...

I use the vastly superior Minefield. It's much quicker and is a mozilla browser.

I mean just look at it like holyshit goddamn

If anyone uses Windows Vista or 7, I recommend Palemoon. It is basically Firefox, but optimized for today's CPU architecture, it removes a lot of the legacy support for Windows XPired, such as the Active -X crappola, and it is faster than Chrome.

I am a guy who recently installed over 20 new browsers. Listen to me when I say this:

Chrome is defiantly the fastest still! I'm still using chrome right now. It is secure, fast and generally speaking supports new technology/scripting/methods better than other browsers (eg. html 5 support, css3 support etc etc).

And funnily enough many of the browsers I tried were BASED on Chromium as it is open source! Most of them simply changed the names and titles!
