If you have some cash, Egoraptor is having a charity auction to raise money for Japan relief efforts!

Also, there is an ongoing effort to find temporary homes for many Japanese families. If you have a spare bedroom, you may be able to help - check out sparkrelief.org.

Osuka has selected the winners of his textures for 3D figure contest!

1st Place ($50 Store Credit)
OzynO with Wireless Moonwalker

2nd Place ($40 Store Credit)
TurkeyOnAStick with Monkey Business

3rd Place ($30 Store Credit)
3D-Xelu with NG Elite

The 7 Runner-ups:

Vortex00 with Riley
Jazza with Grumpy Professor
ButzboPrud with Jurnk
Peglay with Angreh Fancy Panda
Datamouth with Little Sin
dommi-fresh with Undead Andy
Savory with Throbulator

Other popular selections:

Mistress Cony - Wasn't selected because "Wireless" got more votes and there is only one winner per user.
BOOMBOi - Really popular with the ladies.

Check out all the resulting figures and THE WINNERS.

Sad that Throbulator didn't win, but still. Congrats to the winners!

Also, ps. That castle crashers arcade case at PAX was awesome.

Aw I didn't win. D: Oh well, shame BOOMBOI didn't at least place. That was probably my favourite figure.

Those figures all look great!

BTW

Tom, me and Pjorg are working on a game based on a specific recent overused internet meme. Would you be willing to sponsor it when it's complete?

Gameplay's pretty much done, still need art, and NG api integration.
I already PM'd you about 3-4 days ago.

Sounds like an awesome time. Too bad I have no cash and if I get any I try to save it for something I want/need.

Also, there is an ongoing effort to find temporary homes for many Japanese families. If you have a spare bedroom, you may be able to help - check out sparkrelief.org.

Haha, wish I had a spare room, would totally help out.

Congrats to the winners!!

3rd world countries like Haiti are constantly getting support from organizations like the Red Cross and World Vision. Japan simply got broadsided, so it's only natural to give a little extra care during those times just to help get them back on their feet. When Haiti had their earthquake it was the same way.
