New portal submission!
I look like this. Mostly.

Um, clicking the link and thus the url to my new portal drawing is giving me a blank page for the last few hours.. Am I alone in this?

Ah, okay. It kind of sucks since I wanted to show this one off, but what can you do. Anyway, thanks! I'm glad you liked it. The 'flattening' effect textures can have has its own charm though, methinks.

AVAT robot entry!
My earlier idea was something completely different, and I wanted to try a more realistic looking approach. I just had the linework done when I realised that 1) it would take up an enormous amount of time to colour all that in with my lack of knowledge and 2) there were artists way better at realistic digital drawing than I am, so I thought I'd stick to my comic-y style and start all over.

It was only after it was finished that I saw it has quite the resemblance to The Iron Giant.. But I guess any kid with a gigantic robot will have that.

Oh, and Higher quality.

That looks extremely nice. I love the overall feel it makes me think of Iron Giant. Great work, can't wait to see more.

I like your art, it's so fun and seems pretty emotive I think.

Since I've been a bit lazy the past couple of days (weeks?) I thought I'd update with a sketch that was my first idea for the first round of AVAT. It only has half the linework done, but you could see it as a probably forever unfinished WIP.

Another self-portrait, but one for the Self-portrait collab this time.

Looks awesome to me i think you should finish it, would like to see how it comes out. really appreciating the detail.

Thanks! I think there are a lot of things I should finish. I just really don't know what to do with that one since I kind of suck at drawing landscapes.

Yup, still do. Meh, it's vacation, sometimes there are things to do besides posting on NG. And I don't know :D It'd feel a bit lame to just post a photograph of my face on here. Maybe if I find something fun to draw on a photo of me.

Pfrt, it's probably the lace and plumage.
And drawing clothes over a photo is actually pretty easy. Come to think of it, it would be a good exercise for people who have trouble with drawing clothing.
