The interviews keep on coming! We've got new ones for the creator of Drag Racer, Dave from Retarded Animal Babies fame, and Sick Animations - creators of the infamous "Knock Knock" you all have come to love. Check 'em out!

Have you thought about putting say 5 links to "most recent reviews in NG MAG!" on the front page or something, Tom? #;-}>

It would drastically reduce the amount of NG News topics you need to make to let people know about each new interview.

Eventually we'll have something like that in place. For now, I just like building the momentum. We are fine-tuning the system so that select users can best submit stories / interviews directly. A lot of people are submitting work, but we are being picky right now about the quality threshold - hopefully we can maintain relatively high standards for the interviews and articles.

That cuts down on quantity a bit, too. #;-}>

BTW, liljim asked me if I wanted to write/interview for the new mag a few months ago/last fall.

Is that offer still open? I'd like to interview fabulous999 (creator of BEEBO and African Detroit Cop), if so.

That RAB interview's pretty sweet... nice job. Good to see the mag filling up with content now, it seems to be gaining momentum as you say.

How do you find the time to interview these people?

Response to NG Mag Interviews 2004-04-20 13:55:19

yeah you don't need to make a new topic for every interview considering there's like one every one or two days now.

We have been receiving a ton of interview submissions, including duplicates where several users interview the same author. Right now we are prioritizing based on the depth of the interview. I'm trying not to post them all at once.

Right now NGMag has a link on the front page navbar. As we overhaul the rest of the site, that same navbar will eventually appear on every page.

Something like a vote for who you most want to be interviewed would be cool

Is it just me or have other people noticed that Tom's been posting a lot more often lately.... could this mean that work on Alien Hominid is almost done if it isn't already?

The NG mag is awesome. I've really enjoyed all the interviews so far. I'm a bit of a writer myself and I considered trying to submit something, but I chickened out :P I'm a little too shy to approach any of my favorite flash arteests for an interview. I'd maybe do something on the Animutation phenomenon, but it's not that popular here on NG. Oh well, I'll keep enjoying what's there now until some stroke of influence strikes me down ;) Keep up the good work.

Yeah. I sent in an interview. But it will probably not be up if it will get up at all any time soon. I should have done it earlier, as it pertained to a certain time and if it gets posted a few days to a week later. It will be out of date. :(

the mag thing is a really awesome idea! like it alot!
