Apple Hates Flash

Apple has a serious disdain for flash. Recently I was at the Apple store and I attempted to login into Stickam only to find out that all of the laptops on display didn't have flash installed. After that I decided to go to Newgrounds to see what was up, and they had blocked Newgrounds.com as well. What the hell?

If apple allowed flash to be played on their ipod touches, iphones and ipads it would open a huge avenue of entertainment that would most likely encroach on Apples app store sales. Games could be played and free movies could be watched.

They're a bunch of communists. Flash is a free development tool available to everyone. They will not allow any of their devices to use plugins that aren't owned by the state. Flash stands for freedom, what America is all about. Quit being a bunch of communist hippies Apple. Don't remind us how much a POS your company use to be Steve Jobs. Your companies stocks were worth nothing 5 years ago, because your computers were absolute shit. If you had an apple your computer ran slower than anything else on the market. Now that you have revolutionized the music market with your ipods you think you own this town. Well, it's absurd.

You can jailbreak your iphone to use Flash but that's a fucking nuisance and you can't have the most recent updated version of your models firmware either.

Apple hates fucking anything that costs them a cent. That's why Limewire got shut down, because that fucking tool Steve Jobs needed even more money. They'll gouge you for every cent you have, with apps, songs, ringtones, ect.

You can download flash onto your Mac if you so please, but why in the fuck would they take the time to do it themselves? And yes, flash isn't on iPhone or iPads... don't see why it matters to be honest. Why in the hell would I need flash on my iPhone?

The #1 reason he states that flash isn't on the idevices yet is because it isn't ready. Nothing personal, adobe and apple actually use to be best friends. It's just that flash isn't mobile friendly yet, and there's tremendous proof with the failure of capable releases being put out on time on other mobile devices.

So my guess is that future updates will be more mobile capable. He also insists that adobe is the communists, but there's absolutely no proof behind what he says that's merely just a matter of opinion.

I've ran flash via cloud browse on the iPhone. It was so laggy watching a movie, forget playing a game.

My teacher told me Apple was attempting to develop it's own software intended to replace flash all together. Macromedia, the company that made flash didn't like this, thus causing a bitter hatred between each other. Still apple needs flash for many of it's products so they have to grudgingly deal with whats happening until they release their software.

Flash sucks and is a buggy as hell platform that apple is smart not to support. Good job steve jobs for not being retarded and picking up flash as it would likely cripple the iphone and ipad.

Capitalism isn't about giving away things for free. It's about making profit margins to pay your employees who provide quality services who need to have food on their table and the occasional vacation. The American dream of course.

I actually have a legal version of adobe photoshop. I have the box to prove it. But it went corrupt and I just ended up stealing the latest version anyway. So in some way Adobe is very free, you can pirate most of their software packages because they're so vital. Adobe = fucking class software.

About the thoughts on flash, they say Flash might not be free at any one point of time, say 2045.
They say that it supports HTML5, CSS, etc. HURR DURR HURR HTML5 =/= FLASH DURR. Seriously, what is wrong with Steve jobs? Maybe he should've built a better OS, with regard to "FLAHS IS TEH BIGGEST RESON MACS CRAHS HURR". Almost anything crashes a system, but why emphasize?
For the part about "Rollover and touch", if the rollover does nothing, then you can obviously press it right? you don't need the rollover, what's concerned is the fact that you press the stupid button and not roll over it 80% of the time! Also, you can DRAG the cursor over the button for the rollover, sheesh.

Also, this is why I like an Android system more than Apple products.

Eh, I knew the company was going to die eventually a long time back, now it might come true.

In relevant news....

Adobe announced that some apple products are now capable of using Adobe AIR applications (~1 year ago). While this is not the same as flash, it might allow for flash being integrated later.
