3.80 / 5.00 4,200 Viewsso i imported a ,wav like it said and the whole thing worked great. but when i decided to switch to a different song the10 mb file with the first song. i deleted it and it stayed at ten mb. added the other song in its place and it added another 10 mb. now my file is 20 mb.
at the same time. why are my 2 min .wav 16 bit sounds 10 mbs each.??
someone please help me atleast kill the excess mb weight
i have saved my file and dont see why the old sound file size is included. since this post in another thread i switched the song in another test and my file size is now plus anohter 10mb now at 32mb.
i was about to post my first game ever when i remembered to add sound . now its too big a file please help

Or you can use flash setting to compress them on compile.

Are you talking about your .fla, or your .swf file? What really matters is the size of your .swf, as that's what you'll upload to sites. Just so long your .swf isn't huge, you'll be fine.
Other than that, ditto what everyone else says, use save and compact to make your .fla smaller.
