Anti-americans would be all "take that assholes", americans would be "this is the worst disaster to ever hit this planet" and the rest would be "sucks, i hope they get through it".

You know, not only do I feel bad for Japan, even though they've gone through shit like that, but also for Hawaii, California, and Mexico. Those tsunamis have gotten way out of control (stating the obvious, but whatever.) I'm not laughing, and people who are making fun of it seriously need to grow up.

The next logical question might be how can we help? If we care, that is.

I can't come up with a decent saying, since everyone copyrights everything.

People who were born years, even decades after Pearl Harbor complaining on how they bombed it? Jeez, way to be close minded.

I just heard from the news that the earthquake from Japan moved the big island 8 feet to the east. Now that's something.

This is pretty interesting.

This one today is the 5th biggest earthquake in history. The biggest of all time was in Chile in 1960, the magnitude was 9.5. That's insane.

Assuming it happened out in California, I would probably feel just as badly and maybe even moreso for them as I currently do towards the people of Japan. But I gotta admit, seeing as I hate that fucking state a small part of me would definitely be laughing my ass of.

I love how he wasn't concerned with other people's lives. I love that.

Anyway, I hope the death toll doesn't increase from this point on--Although it is highly likely to do so. At least it's not anywhere near as bad as the tsunami that struck southeast Asia 5 years ago.

Tokyo? If so, it should be fine. The damage in Tokyo is pretty minimal, as it affected mostly the city of Sendai and surrounding areas, as it did pretty badly.

Just kidding

But really, I seriously hope those didn't cause TOO many deaths, or killed all of those japanese game developers.

enough of the anti-comments of "can't get along and mourn neighbors"

An earthquake in Japan, a deadly tsunami in the Pacific...

And now a volcano in Indonesia has erupted.

I'd said it before and I'll say it again, some of these anime fans seem to have freaking tunnel vision that makes rouge dictators look like open minded geniuses. We're talking about an earthquake, tsunami, fire, and possible nuclear meltdown at the Fujishima Nuclear Plant due to said earthquake, but it seems like all this guy cares about is his precious anime. *facepalms with 2 hands*

Slightly off topic here, but it seems like Gadhafi now has found his distraction, what with the most of the world focused on Japan {as they should be}, he's free to create more chaos in Libya, and by the time we turn our focus back to Libya again, it's going to look a lot worse than it was before the earthquake struck.

Back to the matter at hand, I really hope they can find a way to cool off those nuclear reactors before they go critical. I don't think we want to have another Chernobyl on our hands, but in a much more developed country.

If Obama actually had any balls (which he doesn't) he should take this opportunity to bomb the hell out of Libya while the world is focusing on Japan.

Agreed.
