I've done 75 before, and I was kind of surprised my energy wasn't running out, so I stopped because I still wanted to do more sets afterwards. I do them every 2 or 3 days and I start off with 40, then another 40, then 30.

The redesign happened, now my signature doesn't match anymore.
I've got mostly lower-body strength.
I can do 20-30 pushups, which isn't much, but however, take into account that I'm 190cm (6'3) tall and 110 kg (242.5 lbs). It's a bit of a bitch - much easier just lifting someone up who's 60 or so kg. I am one big motherfucker.
I guess i can do more than 100 since I do series of dips every 2-3 days to stay in shape.
In fact i did some today and my muscles are tired, so I'm not going to try and see how many push ups i can do.
If I really pushed myself I could do around 50. I do 3 sets of 30 when I work out.
I can do about thirty just banging em out real quick but if I take my time and breath properly I can only do about 20.
50-60, doesn't really count much on strength tho. More of an endurance thing.
I can do 50 on a good day, but usually I'm lucky to make it to 40. Kind of strange since I don't work out or move at all O_o

I always try to do clap push ups, then when I don't clap fast enough I smash my face into the floor and get a concussion.

I'll try when I get back from work tonight, I'm not about to start doing press-ups in my suit.
I guess I'll have to report back then. It used to be quite a few, but what with focusing on other activities and quitting the gym a few years back, I'm not sure I can reach the same level now.
I can do 9 really nice push-ups..then about 4 shitty-lookin ones...then my arms shake and I fall over.

Good to know more about myself! I used to be able to do more than 9...like... I remember when I was like 9-10ish I did 100 once as a bet. Now I can do 9.

If you can't do at least 15 push-ups, that's pretty fucking shameful.
Just did 20, and even that is pathetic. When I was regularly working out I could reach 35-40.
On the flip-side, I can do 3 sets of 20 sit-ups, which is pretty damn impressive if you ask me.

Five at any random time, ten to fifteen if I'm at school/work or in a fit mood.
If I had to push it to my limit I could probably do 20....but it'd be hard work and I would eventually slack off and wouldn't go low enough when going down.
Latest fitness test I did 75 push-ups in a minute.
Handstand push ups is where it is at, now there is a challenge. Good fun.

I'm a little shocked at some of the really high numbers I've seen. Are you guys doing them properly or just dropping a few inches before pushing back up?
I was always taught that you're meant to imagine someone has got their fist clenched on the floor, under your chest and you are meant to drop until you hit it, and then push back up.
I do two sets of 100 each day.
Except when I'm too tired.
But I'm trying to start doing more.
